Our production facilities can meet the majority of the demands. At Galex, we are able to produce both smaller or larger series of products and can also carry out additional orders. The minimal batches start at 10 kg or at 1,000 packed tablets onwards.

We prepare the entire PIF (product information file) documentation for you. A PIF is a collection of documents describing a cosmetic product. It includes a risk assessment for all substances, signed by a qualified professional. After carrying out all the required studies, each cosmetic product must be reported to the European Commission on the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal). It is also obligatory to report the person responsible for placing the product on the market. In the case of dealing with food supplements, we prepare all the documentation with the content of individual active ingredients contained in the product. We also review all documentation of input subtances.

Dermatological testing of cosmetics – pH, lubricity and viscosity – is routinely performed to ensure proper product development, while solubility, disintegration and brittleness are tested for food supplements and tablets. Certain tests are performed in our laboratory, and additional tests at a recognized foreign laboratory. Due to our contract with them, we can guarantee you favorable prices.

Developing a new product is a lengthy process that starts with a conversation where you can give us more information on what your needs are. It is the part of the procces where we define who the product will be intended for, how it will be marketed, and determine all of the other parameters, such as whether the product will be of natural origin or whether it will also contain chemical elements. This is followed by making a sample where you check the structure, lubricity, absorbency and other defining properties. Based on your comments and feedback, the product is finished and thus the appropriate product can be finally manufactured. In the last phase, the color in the scent of the product are determined.

After defining all product parameters, a test series is created. For creams, the amount is 10 kg, and for tablets 500 tablets. Products from the test series can be used to carry out trials on your customers and to perform product registration. Since the test series is not yet a large production, some things can still be changed and corrected at this stage. This way, we can ensure you are provided with the end product, exactly the way you wanted it to be.
