Alkan makina was originally founded by Mr.Cüneyt Alkan (Chairman&Managing Director) in 1971 and have specialized in the production of textile machines mainly stenters for more than 40 years.Alkan Makina's head and administration offices are at the commercial centre of Istanbul, Yenibosna which is approximately 5 kms away from Atatürk International Airport.The main plant is situated in Çerkezköy (Thrace) about 100 kms West of Istanbul with a covered area of 53.000 sq.m.Alkan with its high quality and competitive price policy has been exporting its textile machines to textile mills throughout the world, especially to Bangladesh, Iran, Syria, Indonesia, Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, India, Colombia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Jordan, Europe and USA as well as to the textile conglomerates in Turkey.
