The QuadTac antennas provide 2-channel intercept and Direction Finding capability for a RESOLVE system. Specifically designed for On-the-March operations, the antenna can operate with the array elements extended for maximum sensitivity, or closed to reduce the visual signature. The Quadrant antenna provides detection of frequencies at the lower end of the HF spectrum (up to 32MHz) and is the largest and most accurate in the RESOLVE antenna range. It is ideal for Semi-Static configurations where it can be quickly deployed. When collapsed the Quadrant antenna fits into a custom carry bag and is easily carried by two men. The MicroQuad antenna is typically used in conjunction with the QuadTac where it provides a base for the QuadTac. It can also be operated in isolation if only HF spectrum monitoring is required. The Acquisition and Geolocation Sensor (AGS) is a dual channel, wideband receiver, optimised to support the intercept and geolocation of modern commercial waveforms such as PMR, GSM and satellite-phones. It provides continuous coverage from 100kHz to 3GHz and has a wideband stare capability to intercept frequency hopping signals and civil waveforms. The VQuad can be mast mounted, radome protected, and elevated up to seven meters or mounted permanently onto any platform. VQuad is based on the field proven and award winning QuadTac, however, there is no requirement for the dipole arms to close which allows for larger dipole elements to be used. This provides increased sensitivity at the lower operating frequencies.
