Drums clamp for the rapid grip of steel and plastic 210 lt. drums
Description
Drum clamp to be installed on the forks of the forklift. The clamp is made of a sturdy steel frame and fork mounted with a forklift, the locking is ensured by two screws and a chain with safety catch that prevents the clamp from sliding off the forks. The coupling and release system of the drum is automatic and the operator must not get off the forklift. It is sufficient to bring the clamp close to the drum and lift. Closing of the clamp is favored by the weight of the drum; to unhook it, simply place the drum on the floor. The clamp cannot be used to handle empty drums. The clamp is suitable for 210 lt metal drums with a diameter of about mm. 580. The pliers can also lift plastic drums with edges but only of the type that can be seen in the picture.

Operation: The connection and disconnection of the drum is automatic and the operator should not fall from the cart, simply push the caliper to the frame, apply light pressure and lift. The clamping device is extremely safe because it is constituted by a double hook, the release is done automatically by placing the drum to the floor. The trolley is suitable for lifting full drums, it is possible lifting the empty drums by pressing it over a pressure to hook the trolley. In the case of empty drums, a second operator must manually apply a pressure on the drum to enable the hooks to be activated.

CART DRUM MOD. DE FP 450 The trolley for drums DE FP 450 allows a single operator to lift and carry in a fast and secure way metal drums with a maximum weight of 300 Kg. The cart has an automatic hook grip with height adjustment, rubber wheels, roll-back support, handle with rubber grips. Suitable for use on smooth floor. Operation: The operator must approach the trolley to the full drum by inserting the bottom of the catch hook under the rim of the drum and levering it with the foot on the bottom of the trolley, tilting it slightly to lift the drum. Thanks to the weight of the drum, the hook automatically snaps and locks the drum firmly. To unhook the drum simply place the base of the drum on the ground, pull the bottom of the trolley toward it, then disengage the bottom of the catch that automatically reopens. In the case of empty drums, the operator must manually apply a pressure on the drum to allow hook activation.
