The capaNCDT DT61x0/IP is an industrial-grade, capacitive sensor system for displacement, distance and position measurements. Consisting of a sensor, a sensor cable and a controller, the measuring system is ready for use without any on-site calibration. Due to its very good temperature stability, immunity to magnetic fields and robust design that is protected to IP68, the capaNCDT DT61x0/IP is used for industrial measurement tasks such as air gap measurement in generators and regulation of plant and machinery.

Modifying the standard eddyNCDT sensors is sometimes necessary particularly for small and large series. Therefore, we modify the measuring systems according to your specific requirements, e.g., changes to the cable, sensor material and design, and to the controller. In particular, sensors with integrated electronics in a miniature housing or special sensor designs are often requested by systems integrators.

The MDS-40-LP sensors are specially designed for large volume production from 2,000 pieces or more. As these sensors are reduced to pure measurement technology, the creation of cost-effective PCB sensors was possible. Their flat design and flexible arrangement of the magnets allows easy integration in restricted spaces. Measured values are output via a rectangular signal, which is easily evaluated via, for example, digital inputs from micro-controllers.

Capacitive sensors are designed for non-contact measurement of displacement, distance and position, as well as for thickness measurement. Due to their high signal stability and resolution, capacitive displacement sensors are applied in laboratories and industrial measurement tasks. In production control, for example, capacitive sensors measure film thickness and application of the adhesive. Installed in machines, they monitor displacement and tool positions.
