Capacitive filling level monitors for operation at medium temperatures of up to 230° C. With PTFE or PEEK housing and stainless steel thread for use in aggressive media. The sensors are based on the proven capacitive principle. The medium to be detected functions as dielectric. The medium in touch with the sensor generates a capacity change. This is converted into a switching signal or an analogue 4...20 mA output signal. This applies both to conductive and on-conductive media. With their small design the sensors of this series are well suited for installation in tight spaces. Upon request we supply the sensors with FDA certificate.

EGE microwave filling level monitors monitor the filling level of fluids, powders and granulate with a low DK value and are particularly resistant to adhesion. The MFC sensors are also suited for separation layer detection. The sensitivity is adjustable. The sensors are based on a special variant of microwave frequency shift technology. EGE supplies the sensors in varying lengths up to 1000 mm. The stainless steel and PTFE sensor tip is suited for use in aggressive media.

EGE sensors for fluid mediums with integrated measuring & amplifier are compact devices with extremely robust housing and integrated measuring and amplifier. The current flow state is displayed at the sensor using LEDs. The measurement takes place without mechanically moving parts using a thermal measuring element. Limit values are set directly at the device. These sensors are used wherever a safe, reliable and low-maintenance recording of flows is required. This includes e.g. all automation and chemical industries in the most varied areas, such as cooling circuit monitoring, monitoring the flow rate of process fluids, monitoring metering processes or also for pump protection.

Conductive level monitor for the detection of conductive media. With this sensor, the resistance between two electrodes is measured. If a medium shorts both electrodes, the resistance decreases and a switching signal is generated. Buildup is no problem for this sensor.

EGE infrared detectors are used to detect hot objects and to record and measure temperatures. The sensors detect the infrared radiation of warm and hot objects from 20° C to 800 ° C. EGE infrared detectors are designed for use under extreme conditions. With their glass and stainless steel housing they are water-tight according to IP 68 / IP 69. With attachment optics can be used at an ambient temperature up to 500° C. An optional blow-out system makes the sensors insensitive to contamination of the optics. The detectors are, for example, used to detect steel girders or hot rolled wire as well as for the contactless temperature control of brewer’s barley in germination tanks.

In addition to purely switching sensors, your sensor specialist EGE also offers you inductive proximity switches with analogue output for measuring tasks. The analogue signal is proportional to the approximation of the metal part. This sensor is also available in a version up to 160° C. The proximity sensor is based on the proven inductive principle: When metallic objects come close, the resonant circuit of a coil is dampened through induction and an analogue signal generated from it. Analogue inductive are e.g. suitable for the double occupation control of metal plates, for the tensioning control of wire or for monitoring metallic brake pads.

High temperature resistance - the special feature of the inductive proximity switches of this product family. The EGE high temperature proximity switches are based on the conventional inductive principle and switch when a metallic object moves close. Sensors are available for the most varied applications.
