Non-contact, inductive displacement sensors from Micro-Epsilon operate according to the eddy current measuring principle. Unlike conventional, inductive displacement sensors, they measure on ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials providing high accuracy, frequency response and temperature stability. Due to their immunity to oil, dirt, pressure and temperature, these inductive eddy current sensors are primarily used for integration in machines and facilities.

The capaNCDT 6200 is the first entirely modular multi-channel measuring system. The controller can be expanded to 4 channels and is therefore suitable for flexible applications. All capacitive displacement sensors from Micro-Epsilon can be operated using the capaNCDT 6200 controller. The integrated Ethernet interface supports parameter setting and measurements via web interface. The DL6230 demodulator provides high resolution measurements. For high-speed measurements up to 20 kHz, the capaNCDT 6222 system is available.

Inductive sensors from Micro-Epsilon are based on the eddy current principle and designed for non-contact measurement of displacement, distance, position, oscillation and vibrations. They are particularly suitable when high precision is required in harsh industrial environments (pressure, dirt, temperature). Inductive sensors from Micro-Epsilon offer extremely precise measurements where sub-micron accuracy is required.

Modifying the standard eddyNCDT sensors is sometimes necessary particularly for small and large series. Therefore, we modify the measuring systems according to your specific requirements, e.g., changes to the cable, sensor material and design, and to the controller. In particular, sensors with integrated electronics in a miniature housing or special sensor designs are often requested by systems integrators.

Laser scanners from Micro-Epsilon are among the highest performing profile sensors in the world with respect to accuracy and measuring rate. They detect, measure and evaluate profiles on different object surfaces without contact. The available models with different measuring ranges are ideally suitable for industrial applications. Models for the customer’s own evaluation programming are available for integrators. With integrated intelligence, the scanCONTROL SMART scanners solve numerous measurement tasks. The scanCONTROL models require no external controller, which significantly simplifies the installation effort.
