The MANOY® U‑Cup is a pressureactivated sealing system. This means that the total sealing force is only ever as high as required to seal the prevailing pressure. This friction optimization saves energy.The MANOY® U‑Cup seals gases and liquids and also highviscosity fluids and pastes in a nonstandard version

The main applications are liquids at very high pressure. This seal can also be used for gases if the maximum operating parameters are restricted.

Motor shafts. Gear and frive unit shafts. Fan shafts. Clamping tools. Applications at high speed and lo pressure.

Types 231 to 238 are used for lubricating fluids and to a limited degree also for dry running and purely rotary or oscillating motion. They are only partly suitable for helical motion.

High termat or chemical specifications. Medium pressure and low speed. Suitable for almost all fluids. Robat axes, Rotary unions.

High pressures at relatively low speed. For fluids over a wide viscosity range and for gases. Rotary unions at high pressure. Robot axes

With internally protected sealing lip. With O‑ring for sealing in the groove base. For high peripheral speed and increased chemical resistance

Face seal used for rotary and oscillating motion in pipe joints and rotary actuators. Used at low to high pressure and low speed

Suitable for nearly all fluids, Dry running possible, Low coefficient of friction, Very long life due to high abrasion resistance, No chatter (stickslip) at low speed, Does not stick to the mating surface after prolonged shutdown, Nonsensitive to pressure peaks, Available for any diameter up to 700 mm
