An international standard was established in 2008 and updated in 2014 to classify the international energy efficiency (IE) of low-voltage three-phase induction motors. This is the IEC/EN 60034-30.1 standard. It reinforces the balance of international efficiency regulations. At Focquet, we have more and more IE4 motors to meet the needs of our environmentally conscious customers. We continue to invest heavily in this type of motor.
