Linear Slide Unit

The IKO Precision Ball Slide is an extremely compact and lightweight linear motion rolling guide with the track portion and mounting surface integrated, made into a rolling guide by precisely molding a stainless steel plate into a U shape. Since high performance and quality can be stably maintained for a long period of time, it is widely used as a precision linear motion rolling guide for the magnetic head guiding parts of precision measurement instruments and computer external storage devices, and also as a functional part for precision linear motion such as for semiconductor manufacturing and testing and inspection equipment. Models are available in abundant performances and sizes, and can be selected according to the application. IKO LBalls are selfaligning Spherical Bushings consisting of a special zinc diecast alloy body and a studded ball which has its axis at right angles to the body. They can perform tilting movement, oscillating movement and rotation with low torque, and transmit power smoothly due to uniform clearance between the sliding surfaces. Their superior wear resistance assures stable accuracy for long periods of time, and maintenance is simple. They are very economical bearings. The IKO High Rigidity Precision Linear Slide Unit BWU is a small limited linear motion guide with two rows of balls in contact with the raceway at four points, allowing stable accuracy and rigidity to be achieved even in applications where fluctuating or complex load is applied. It is available in abundant sizes and can be selected according to the application. Since the integrated table and bed grind the two track grooves simultaneously, machining errors are fewer, the dimensional accuracy between each row can be easily increased, and highly accurate and extremely smooth operation is possible. The IKO Miniature Linear Bushing is an extremely small linear motion rolling guide with a shaft diameter of 3 to 5 mm that performs endless linear motion in the axial direction while making rolling contact with the shaft. Cage, steel balls and stop ring are compactly built in the external cylinder, allowing high feed accuracy to be obtained. Since the steel balls are accurately guided by the cage, stable linear motion can be obtained with small frictional resistance.
