Brown fused aluminium oxide is characterized by the high mechanical strength and hardness, chemical, corrosion and thermal resistance, thermal stability and wear-resistance property. The BFAO is used for the material processing with medium and high breaking strength, when working with variable loads and at high feed rates. The BFAO is widely used in the abrasive tools manufacturing with fixed abrasives- rougher,cutting-off and grinding; tools on a flexible base- coated abrasives, in the process of loose abrasive grains grinding. The BFAO coated abrasives are used in the structural, carbon, alloy-treated, creep-resisting, stainless and instrumental steel processing, cast iron, solid bronze, ferrous castings, pressed parts, steel castings and forgings, and other materials of the artificial and natural origin. The BFAO coated abrasives used for blasting and in refractory and ceramic industries as a component for moldings, refractory mass, solutions and antipenetration washes.

The BSC grinding materials are widely used in the abrasive tools manufacturing and fixed-abrasives - rougher, cutting-off and grinding; tools on a flexible base - coated abrasives, in the process of loose abrasive grains grinding. The BSC grinding materials are used: in the process of iron and nonferrous metals, carbon, glass and ceramics, stone, concrete, bricks and chamotte, wood substance, plastics, leather, rubber, and other hard, tough, brittle, alloys, and materials of natural and artificial origin treatment; in the refractory and ceramic industries as a component for moldings and antipenetration washes, in the process of crucibles for casting of non-ferrous and precious metals production, for wash troughs. Refractory products of silicon carbide abrasive materials have high thermal conductivity, heat resistance (deformation starting above 1500 C), resistance to acid slags.

Metallurgical silicon carbide with SiC 88%, 94% min mass proportions, in the form of 0-10mm grain size fraction for use as a modifier (deoxidizer) in the process of synthetic iron melting in cupola furnaces, electric arc or induction furnacer.

Boron Carbide (BC) is characterized by extra-hardness: it is the third substance after diamond and cubic boron nitride material, with high wear-resisting property, chemical resistance in aggressive environments, heat resistance, neutron absorption large cross-section, high electric resistance and semiconductor properties. The grinding materials are used for grinding and polishing by loose abrasive grains and in the form of pastes. BC is widely used in the nuclear industry for the control rods manufacturing. BC is used in the process of armor plates and bullet-proof body armor manufacturing.

BN is boron with the nitrogen high melting compound, which has a high thermal insulation, insulating and semiconducting properties, the low temperature coefficient of linear expansion. BN is an oxidation-resistant out of doors, is not wetted by molten glass, silicon, bronzes, it does not interact with the molten cryolite and aluminum. BN is used for the castable refractory in the precision metallurgical engineering, in the process of refractories manufacturing, for heat insulation and as a part of dielectrics.
