A scientific test station and laboratory unique in France are directly adjoined to the POITTEMILL and FORPLEX administrative offices. Discussions between the customers and our technical teams begin in the test centre along with the detailed analysis of their raw materials in order to obtain all the necessary information for a successful project outcome. The laboratory and test centre are fully equipped to respond to the requirements of our different customers in the fields of grinding, crushing and micronization of raw materials.

The POITTEMILL Control laboratory is equipped with measuring devices designed to characterize the physical properties of the raw materials to be treated from samples provided by our customers. Preproject indexes such as humidity content, HGI and Work Indexes are determined according to standardized procedures (ISO 5074 for the Hardgrove grindability Index). After the tests have been concluded, the fine particles resulting from the grinding or selection are analysed in order to establish the particle size distribution curves.

An experienced team of engineers work within the Design department at POITTEMILL and FORPLEX, building upon over 100 years of expert knowledge. Assisted by qualified design technicians and uptodate technological computerized tools ( fluid mechanics design programmes, latest 3D technologies, CAD HP Workstation Z420 workstations), the Design department is able to offer a complete range of services to help you precisely determine your needs and define a solution that takes into account the economic, environmental, spacial and security constraints of your project. The services provided are as follows Feasability studies, Writing of specifications, Audit of existing installation, Maintenance, energy and optimisation advice, Particle size analysis and testing, Studies, supply and commissioning of complete installations.

POITTEMILL and FORPLEX adopt different processes according to the product to be treated and the nature of the forces applied to the product. These processes can be added simultaneously or successively as options to respond to a specific problem. Each installation can benefit from these options if the product allows. The POITTEMILL and FORPLEX pilot plant is responsible for the implementation of these processes

The POITTEMILL / FORPLEX AfterSales service is the last link in the chain for our customers. A specialised team of Assembly and Commissioning technicians is available to carry out maintenance, audit and update customer installations. The AfterSales department can offer advice on replacement stock management in order to guarantee the optimized supply of spare parts and minimize interruptions to machine operation. The AfterSales department is qualified to assemble and repair small machines in our workshop and carry out the following tasks Preventive servicing of installations; Spare parts and supply propositions; Problem detection on installations; Assistance with the development and optimisation of grinding processes (assisted by an Engineer); Modifications and updating with latest technology (Audits, Retrofitting) even for longserving installations; Disposal of old installations
