Paprika Oleoresin

Marigold Oleoresin is obtained from marigold flower by fermentation, extraction and concentration. Its main components are mainly xanthophylls and other carotenoids, plant fat and wax. Application: mainly used as raw material of the food colouring and feed grade natural pigments Appearance: brownish oleoresin under conditions of above 30C. The product becomes sticky liquid when the temperature reaches to 40℃. Soluble in vegetable oil, hexane, not soluble in water.

Natural Beta Carotene Powder is an organic, strongly colored red-orange pigment abundant in fungi, plants, and fruits. It is a member of the carotenes, which are terpenoids (isoprenoids), synthesized biochemically from eight isoprene units and thus having 40 carbons. Among the carotenes, β-carotene is distinguished by having beta-rings at both ends of the molecule. β-Carotene is biosynthesized from geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate.

Curcumin is a bright yellow chemical produced by Curcuma longa plants. It is the principal curcuminoid of turmeric (Curcuma longa), a member of the ginger family, Zingiberaceae. It is sold as an herbal supplement, cosmetics ingredient, food flavoring, and food coloring. Chemically, curcumin is a diarylheptanoid, belonging to the group of curcuminoids, which are natural phenols responsible for turmeric's yellow color. It is a tautomeric compound existing in enolic form in organic solvents and in keto form in water. Laboratory and clinical research have not confirmed any medical use for curcumin. It is difficult to study because it is both unstable and poorly bioavailable. It is unlikely to produce useful leads for drug development.

Lycopene, a carotenoid found in plant foods, is also a red pigment. Dark red needle-like crystals, soluble in chloroform, benzene and fats, but not in water. Lycopene can be used as a pigment in food processing, and is also often used as a raw material for antioxidant health foods.
