Key applications: Closure of soft and rigid air duct insulation in HVAC applications. Insulation of boiler cases, high-pressure steam pipe insulation, etc. Jointing of thermo-acoustic panels. Galvanising and aeroplane/automotive painting and refinishing. For masking during sandblasting and powder finishing. Fixing of coils to refrigerator panels to maximize cold efficiency. It comprises a glass scrim reinforced aluminium tape coated with an aggressive cold weather acrylic adhesive, supplied with a siliconised paper liner. This very strong, high performance aluminium tape is ideal for use in a range of demanding applications and environmental conditions. Features: For use as a heat deflector. Good high and low temperature resistance ‐service temperature: ‐35°C to +120°C. Scrim reinforced for extra strength. Good water vapour resistance. Same aluminium visual aspect to blend in easily with air ducts. Good ageing resistance both indoors and outdoors. Soft and conformable.
