Our crane hire company based in Muir of Ord provides both CPA contract hire and CPA crane hire services throughout the Highlands, Islands and the UK nationwide. Our lifting equipment specification ranges from 5Te to 250Te, with projects being supported by a growing and highly competent team of operators, each of them skilled at negotiating the challenging terrain we are often faced with across the Highland & Islands. In addition, we operate a fleet of specialised heavy haulage, support and escort vehicles, enabling Stoddart Crane Hire to provide a seamless, comprehensive service to our clients, whatever the project. Stoddart Crane Hire began life in 2004 when David Stoddart, an experienced crane driver for many years, ventured out with his first crane, a Grove TM870. Recognising the need for a reliable crane provider with the ‘can do’ attitude, he proceeded to build a modern fleet of cranes, vehicles and specialist equipment to serve the varied industries of the Highlands, Islands and the UK nationwide.
