Description
Canaletas has a sanitation system specifically developed for their water coolers and drinking fountains in order to achieve maximum hygienic safety. Concept Sanitation is a process of disinfecting the interior and exterior of the coolers and drinking fountains. The goal is to eliminate any microorganisms that may develop inside the water cooler (tanks and water connections),the water jets or taps for a higher quality water with more hygienic safety for the consumer. Compulsory It is mandatory for members of the European Water Coolers and Drinking fountains Associations that look after quality and safety of products supplied to end users. Under these rules, water coolers and drinking fountains have to be sanitized on a regular basis and through a system whose effectiveness has been certified, although no norm or European directive forced to perform.

It incorporates a pump that ensures the required water input pressure necessary for proper operation and a pressured accumulator tank of 12 liters. It is installed under the sink in the kitchen and requires water inlet, drainage and electricity like a washing machine. A faucet for purified water has to be installed which can be the standard equipment or the special three way faucet head model with a more elegant design.

Canaletas recommends using an active carbon filter to enjoy a high quality of drinking water. This filter removes bad tastes and odors that may be present in the water, such as chlorine and small particles or organic material. FILTERS FOR DRINKING FOUNTAINS Canaletas has selected these filters for the drinking fountains for their durability and filtering capacity. Models: M105 Plastic housing and cartridge C115. Maximum working pressure 8 Kg. / cm³. Water connection ½ inch. M115 Stainless steel housing and cartridge C115. High pressure tested up to 21Kg. / cm³ (especially with sudden increases in water pressure). Water connection ½ inch. REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE Replacement for filters M105 and M115 Active carbon block filter with a 5µm and a working life of approx one year.
