Each xiSpec2 camera is individually calibrated. The camera specific calibration file and spectral test report is part of the scope of delivery. These snapshot mosaic HSI cameras have the unique capability of more than real time video-rate spectral data acquisition. Each image can be interpreted as a hyperspectral imaging cube immediately. The standard xiSpec2 cameras come with a micro-B USB3 interface.

The xiQ offers multiple choices for sensors, boards and connectors. Being extremely small and robust make this camera ideal for machine vision. Specifically, the board-level units are preferred choice for system integrators due to the single board design. These enable the customers to optimize their devices in size, compactness, and footprint. The low heat dissipation and low power consumption are complimentary advantages.

The xiMU is an exceptional USB2.0 device. It’s a complete, industrial grade 5 Mpix camera weighing just 3.4 grams including a full metal housing and as such it is the smallest available. It comes with a highly useful features for medical and industrial environments like GPIO and GenICam support. This camera always comes into play when size and mass are deciding factors.

The xiX- Series is the integrators dream. With only 26.4 x 26.4 x 31 mm and 30 grams it is the smallest camera featuring Sony Pregius™. The fast CMOS sensor offers a high range of High Speed and high frame rates from 2.3 Mpix at 166 Fps to 50 Mpix at 33 Fps. The xiX cameras stream images to the host computer via 2 or 4 lanes on a OCI Express Gen2 bus. Together with minimal latencies and CPU load, the cameras are a perfect fit for embedded vision and multi-camera applications. Thanks to flat flex cabling, the board-level and semi-housed variants allow integration in tight spaces and close proximity between cameras.

The xiC is an extremely diversified and highly modular camera family designed for the Sony Pregius™ sensor series. It offers multiple choices of combining sensors and interfaces. Even though it is a board stack for system integrators it has all the benefits of a single board design and is incredibly small.

The xiB cameras stream images to the host computer via 4 lanes on a PCI Express Gen2 bus, boasting an impressive 20 Gbit/s of bandwidth. Together with minimal latencies the CPU load, the PCIe technology is ideal for high resolution CMOS sensors. The cameras are compactly housed in 60 x 60 x 38 mm, can be fully synchronized with their multiple GPIOs and offer an active Canon EF-Mount. All properties are extremely useful in multi-camera applications like 360 panoramas. In situations where multiple camera heads need to be placed in close proximity, system integrators can combine and aggregate the data streams from cameras with various resolutions via additional accessories.

The models of the xiB-64 series with selected Luxima, CMOSIS and GPixel sensors range from variants with 1.1 Mpix resolution and over 3,600 fps to 65.4 Mpix at 76 fps. The xiB-64 series combines high speed and high resolution in a compact package (60mm x 70mm x 40mm). The ability to transfer image data directly into the PC's main memory (DMA) enables both high-capacity data storage and further processing of image data on graphics processors (GPUs). The range of applications extends from process monitoring, sports broadcasts and flow measurements (PIV) in the high-speed range to land surveying, medical technology and high-resolution spectroscopy. Reaching a resolution of 65.4Mpix (9,344 x 7000 pixels) and up to 71 fps, the newly introduced CB262 from the xiB-64 series expands the product portfolio of XIMEA GmbH from Münster. The PCIe3.0 interface allows image data to be transmitted at 64 Gbps (8 GB/s) - even over distances of 100 m via fiber optic connections.

Ultra-compact cameras for scientific and low-light applications featuring the latest CCD and scientific CMOS (sCMOS) sensors with modern, high speed interfaces such as USB3.1 Gen1 and PCI express (PCIe) USB models are offered with Peltier cooling for outstanding dark current performance and highest dynamic range. The PCIe interface provides the ultimate in speed for the fastest readout available from these high-performance sensors.

High resolution direct phosphor imaging where sensor is bonded to a fiber-optic plate, which is then coated with a phosphor scintillator. The field of view of the scintillator is 36x24 mm, ideal for researching the elemental composition and structure of biological samples through: Micro CT (Computed Tomography), Soft X-Ray Microscopy, Crystallography, X-Ray Spectroscopy, Coherent X-Ray Diffraction, Non-Destructive Testing, Fluoroscopy, Plasma Diagnostics, Radiography, Industrial CT scanning and more.

The xiD series is based on the most advanced Sony CCD sensor (available till 2025). As CCDs, they boast high sensitivity and 14 bit dynamic range. The cameras have excellent passive cooling properties, great performance and allow USB bus powering. The board-level versions include a system integration guide for designing an optimal heatsink and enclosure. Due to the implementation of a 4 tap readout, this series supports the maximum frame rates that the sensors deliver.
