KG has been producing injection-moulded plastics from its factory since 1934, manufacturing injection-moulded plastic parts, plastic packages, plastic boxes, measuring cups and measuring spoons. We have been manufacturing and marketing our goods since 1934, which means we can draw upon extensive experience and ever-growing expertise, which is evidenced in everything we do, right down to the very last screw-top container. We have always embraced new challenges, enabling us to develop in a wide range of fields. When building the company's new headquarters, for instance, the focus was on making a facility that was ready to face the challenges of the future, in particular by ensuring a high level of sustainability. It is not only the operational buildings that benefit from cutting-edge technology; the production process also calls upon ultra-modern manufacturing machinery, some of which has even been developed in-house. Highly-trained staff are on hand in every department to ensure the smooth running of the entire production process.

As an owner-managed family business, we launched out company, Filtrum GmbH, in Hemer in 2004. Today, we deliver our plastic injection-moulded parts, stamped parts and moulded parts as well as our filters & dirt trap applications throughout Europe. Our customers operate in the fields of service water, heating technology and electrical engineering among others, and we have provided them with reliable support for a number of years. Extending our portfolio, we also provide products in the field of longitudinal/roll seam welding. This allows us to offer our customers larger filters with a diameter of up to approx. 200 mm and a length of up to approx. 750 mm. What has driven us forward since 2004? Turning our customers’ ideas into reality: all articles are custom-made products that we manufacture in accordance with your drawings and specifications. The following types of material are currently used: Plastic injection moulding: POM, certified for drinking water, PP, PE, PU, ABS. Stamped & moulded parts: brass, stainless steel. Filter inserts & dirt trap applications: 1.4301 + 1.4401 in wire thicknesses from 0.0125 mm to 4 mm and mesh sizes from 20 µm to 4000 µm

Our company began with making injection moulded tools in 1999 and founded a production site for plastic injection moulding to manufacture plastic packaging in early 2000. Our production site is located on a 36, 000 square metre plot, 14, 700 square metres of which making up the interior hall space. Our plant has a mould production and a plastic injection moulding department. The plastic injection moulding department is subdivided into two parts: Plastic packaging production for the food sector as a separate and enclosed production area and the manufacture of industrial packaging as a second separate production area. We always track new technologies and product developments on the market from a technical as well as a marketing perspective with an approach that aims to reduce costs while maintaining a responsible attitude towards the environment.
