Moisture represents a major economic risk for manufacturers, shippers and recipients. Packaging, shipping and storage are key elements that can be undone by insufficient care. Hermetic packaging is not sufficient. Changing climate conditions and temperatures during weeks in transport at sea lead to the formation of condensation, which corrodes metal. If no protective measures are taken, surfaces can be damaged, efficacy and suitability for storage is reduced and malfunctions or total loss may be caused.
