AfB stands for "Arbeit für Menschen mit Behinderung", a non-profit organisation for work for people with disabilities. Almost half of the 500 employees are disabled. We buy used IT and mobile devices, irrevocably delete all data, prepare the hardware and sell it in our AfB shops or in the AfB online shop. Out of the 500, 000 items of IT equipment we deal with each year, we can resell two thirds. The other third is professionally recycled in Europe. By extending the useful life of these items, we are reducing the impact on the environment and climate, and can prove that we are conserving resources to our IT partners by means of detailed key figures.
