Composite decking plank “TardeX” is a real alternative to natural wood which combines attractive external appearance and warmth of wood with long-term life and easiness in handling of plastics. The material is nice on the touch, it has no knots and is not slippery even in case of a rainy weather. Wooden and polymer composites are one of the most prospect modern materials differing with high operational characteristics and wide spectrum of applications. The production of wooden and polymer composite materials (WPC) was started in end 80-s years of the previous century. Today enterprises on production of products of WPC are in most countries of the world. As for now the leading positions in creation and import thereof are taken by USA and Canada, however the production of such materials expands steadily in Europe and Asia, Russia and Ukraine. The reasons for active development of this group of materials are: Good ratio of price and quality indexes; Evident ecological advantages in production and application; Long-term life of products, low expenses on assembling works and operation (clearing, repair). Wooden and polymer composite is produced of mixture of crushed wood or analogue cellulose containing raw materials, thermoplastic polymers, with addition of small quantities of additives and colourants. When we use the term WPC in fact we imply the wide group of materials which differ considerably in composition and properties.

Thickness: 4.0 - 4.5 mm (+/- 0.1 mm) Width: 133.0 - 195.0 mm (+/- 2 mm) Length: 715.0 - 2450 mm (+/- 1 mm) Humidity: 6.0 - 7.5% (+/- 1%) Quality definitions Grade A: healthy knots are allowed up to 6 mm not more than 2 pieces on the running meter. Grade B: healthy knots are allowed up to 25 mm not more than 2 pieces on the running meter. Black knots are admitted up to 4 mm not more than 4 pieces on the running meter. Grade C: healthy knots are allowed up to 35 mm, not more than 2 pieces on the running meter. Black knots or holes are allowed up to 15 mm not more than 2 pieces on the running meter. Grade R: healthy knots are allowed up to 50 mm up to 1 piece on the running meter. Healthy knots are admitted up to 35 mm till 1 piece on the running meter. Black knots or holes are admitted till 15 mm till 2 piece.
