Our activities include the provision of a comprehensive industrial relations and employment law advisory service. We also assist members in the areas of education, training and skills development including the provision of grant assistance. The Association keeps up to date with current political and legislative issues that have an impact on member companies in order to effectively lobby both local and national government. As a member of the United Kingdom Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT), the Association is able to pursue any concerns it has on government policy and legislation that affects the industry. UKFT conducts lobbying on behalf of the industry and has published a manifesto setting out it’s long term engagement with the UK government. The UKFT also supports the All Party Parliamentary Fashion and Textiles Group.
