  1. AXIOM OPTICS

    United States

Since March 2010, Philippe Clemenceau has been managing the Axiom Optics Division. From Dec 2002 to Sept 2009, Philippe co-founded and served as the director of marketing and sales of Bossa Nova Technologies (Venice, CA), a small company manufacturing and developing laser ultrasonic receivers and polarization imaging systems. Before that, Philippe worked as a research staff from 2001 to 2002 at Lasson Technologies (now IOS located in Torrance, CA) on laser ultrasonic inspection and polarization imaging. From 2000 to 2001, he was a developer of Optical Fiber Amplifiers at Alcatel Optronics, Nozay, FR (now Avanex). Prior to Alcatel Optronics, from 1996 to 2000, Philippe was a researcher on Laser radars and polarization imaging at Thomson-CSF Optronique, Guyancourt (now Thales Optronics) , and at the Center of Research and Education in Optics and Lasers (CREOL), Orlando, FL. Philippe received a bachelor of Physics and a Master in Optical sciences from the Institut d’Optique Graduate School located in Orsay, France in 1998. He is author and co-author of European patents, and has numerous publications in the fields of laser radar, laser ultrasound and polarization imaging.

  3. OFIL LTD

    United States

Ofil develops, designs, and manufactures imaging systems that detect during daytime invisible UVc radiation and make it visible, presented as a natural readable visual image. Processes that involve emission of UV, such as ionization air on the surface of hi/medium voltage installations, a phenomenon renown as corona, are thereby discovered by Ofil's systems. Other applications that benefit from Ofil's UV core technology are off-shore oil leaks mapping and cold fire detection. Ofil owns patents on solar blind & visible blind UV detection, and pending intellectual rights on UV tracking. Ofil uses the brand name DayCor for its range of daytime corona detection systems. DayCor systems feature high sensitivity to UVc sources with high signal/noise ratio and provide pinpointed data of remote or nearby partial discharge occurrences, as needed by utilities assets management and maintenance teams. Ofil offers elaborated aerial multi sensors systems for helicopters and UAS, vehicle mounted inspection systems, handheld compact cameras and optical filters for researchers. Ofil products are sold through a worldwide network of representatives. Hundreds of systems are in use at major electric utilities, high-voltage laboratories, and mining operations.
