Vigour of Conference is medium to high and has a stronger branching habit. Flowering is mid-late, with an inclination to mid-season flowering varieties. It bears fruit early (in its third year and yields are excellent every year). Works very well with quince as a rootstock. It is a good pollinator for other varieties. POLLINATORS: Self-fertile. FRUIT APPEARANCE: Elegant, long, bottle shape outline. Skin is thin and glossy, sprayed with spots. The light-green base color, with an overlay of yellow-green shades. Tree of Butirra variety is medium vigorous to vigorous and flowers mid-early season with a slight inclination to early blooming varieties. A very fertile pear variety that gives yields early in its life cycle and gives substantial yields every year. Diploid variety, and is a good pollinator. POLLINATORS: Santa Maria, Williams. FRUIT APPEARANCE: Skin is smooth, thin and glossy, yellow-green color in base covered in bright red blush on the sunny side. Above that skin is speckled with small and slightly distinct dots. The flesh of Butirra pear is firm, whitish and juicy, sweet-sour in taste, and a very pleasant aroma. FRUIT SIZE: Medium-large to large
