The press-on bands are manufactured using Blickle’s own Blickle Besthane® or Blickle Extrathane® polyurethane treads. They are also available with super-elastic solid rubber tyres or an elastic solid rubber tread. Tyres use a steel-wire reinforced rubber core to connect to the rim, while press-on bands are fitted with either a steel insert or a steel band.

The TGI 8302.LLT system can be easily integrated while offering precise measuring results.

The dimensionCONTROL TMWI 8302.LC system is suitable for the inline weight inspection of continuous running rubber profiles (tread pattern or sidewalls) for passenger and truck tires. Based on the force measurement principle, the inspection system uses two load cells which measure the deflection of the measurement conveyor. These sensor elements are attached to a massive construction, which ensures a long-term mechanical stability of the system. The measurement conveyor uses precise and balanced aluminum rollers with special surface treatment. This ensures a low deadweight, avoids influence of unbalance and eliminates material sticking. Data obtained from the load cells are processed in the implemented PLC cards which determine the measured weight mathematically.The software included offers a variety of measurement data processing, definition of design profiles, statistical analysis of measured profiles and diagnostic tools.

The dimensionCONTROL TWI 7303.I tire width inspection system is designed for profile width measurement in extrusion lines. This measuring system is based on camera vision technology involving two cameras inside one measurement box. These cameras are angle mounted to each other and operate according to stereo vision technology which enables high precision measurements in the whole calibration range.

The TIM QVGA-HD-T100 is a compact thermal imager for body temperature screening. It is designed for temperature measurement of a group of people and for targeted temperature measurement of an individual person. The software automatically recognizes and displays people with increased body temperature which can indicate a febrile illness. The thermal imager is, among other things, intended for visitor and staff entrances, security gates, public institutions, train stations and airports. Three camera lenses are available for temperature screening.

Swivel and fixed castors with pneumatic rubber tyres are used for maximum floor surface preservation. The pneumatic rubber tyres are available with zig-zag or ribbed profile and can be used indoors and outdoors.

Micro-Epsilon tire uniformity and geometry machines measure force variation, runout, and sidewall appearance. Monitoring tire geometry i.e. the measurement of radial or lateral runout as well as side wall detection for bulges, constrictions, dents, week stamp etc., is the most important inspection at the end of the tire production process.

For tire production, tread strips are cut from the extruded strip material. The system TLS 8303.I is applied in the extrusion line to measure the length of the strips immediately after the cutting machine in order to ensure a secure production process in high quality.

The rubber processing industry, as well as the tire production process is supported by Micro-Epsilon with a range of systems for inspection, monitoring and control of miscellaneous processes.

With the Therma friction thermocouple you can determine the surface temperature of the brakes while driving. Attaching the mounting adapter puts uniform pressure on the brake disc through the spring-loaded sensor by using a bayonet cap. That perfectly compensates movements caused by centrifugal force and vibrations as well as the volume decrease caused by disc wear while ensuring a valid measurement. The brake disc friction sensor measures the surface temperature of the brake disc. It imparts important insights about the temperature development. That enables an indication about the brake line, intake and temperature radiation. A brake disc that becomes too hot during a race massively loses its effectiveness and deceleration to the accustomed and optimal degree is no longer possible. If the temperature is too high, the brake pads start gassing on top of that.

The braking fluid thermocouple from Therma convinces not only with its compact construction but also with its simple installation. Just screw it in in-place of the air vent screw to measure the temperature of the brake fluid. The subsequent sheathing line can then be comfortably bent in the required direction. When the thermocouple is screwed in, the braking system is then vented through its thread. The temperature measurement of the brake fluid, along with the brake disc surface measurement, also supplies important control values for a successful and safe race. During long races or races with many downhill routes, the brake disc overheats over-proportionally. The accruing radiation heat during this has a direct effect on the brake fluid, respectively heats it up. Depending on the type of brake fluid being used, it already reaches its boiling point at approx. 140–260 °C.

The profilometer thicknessCONTROL TCP8301.T-Offline is applied for sampling regarding the extrusion process of treads, side wall and inner liner material. The system offers measuring results in high precision and allows therefore an efficient production as well as a fully recorded quality control.

The profilometer of the thicknessCONTROL.TTP series accurately measures the thickness profile of tire tread or side walls during the extrusion process and enable therefore an efficient control during production as well as a fully recorded quality control.

During the production of inner liner, the thickness profile of inner liner material is measured immediately after the calender using systems of the thicknessCONTROL TIP series. Accurate precision of the non-contact optical system ensures high quality and security of the product produced. Sensors belonging to the thicknessCONTROL RTP series can also be applied for this application.

Super-elastic solid rubber tyres are always used for heavy duty applications when transporting heavy loads across challenging surfaces. They are frequently used for agricultural equipment, transport units for large components, forklift trucks and cleaning and sweeping machines. Super-elastic solid rubber tyres are multi-component tyres which are resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances. They provide a high level of operational comfort, low noise levels and good floor preservation.
