The Control & Packaging Unit for Stock Lenses is best utilized by large volume single vision lens manufacturers. This machine will inspect and package 900 lenses per hour with such accuracy that there are no errors such as sending out of tolerance lenses out, or rejecting in tolerance lenses. In addition, the automatic cycle prevents any mispackaging of product. The control unit for single vision semi-finished lenses (MCSFU) is the perfect tool for the free-form laboratories. With a capactity of more than 360 lenses an hour, the MCSFU detects any picking, supply or data error. It measures, accurately and contactless, the radius of the front curve of the single vision semi-finished lenses. The measured data are directly transmitted to the LMS (Lab Management System) software so that the measured data can be taken into account for the calculation.

ICM crawler generators are equipped with a completely removable control unit, which includes an LCD display and keypad. This pocket size Remote Control Unit – the CPRCU – provides the operator with the most user-friendly interface available for crawler tubes. As soon as the preheating is completed and the kVs and mAs are keyed in, the remote control unit will be disconnected and the crawler will be ‘ready to go’

The CCU186 control unit for crawlers possesses a distinct advantage compared to existing products. In fact, all of the performances that are usually achieved with standard control units are now available in the crawler configura­tion. Automatic slow preheating, the progressive rise in voltage with each exposure, as well as a selection of set values are all included in the CCU186. As the CCU186 has been entirely fitted with industrial electronic components, it is perfectly suited to the often extreme conditions of automatic intra-tube control campaigns. GENERATORS All of the generators in the SITEX crawler range are automatically identified and controlled by the CCU186: the interchangeability is total and this can be instantly implemented on-site. Moreover, thanks to a conversion kit, these generators will operate in perfect sync with the SCU286 standard control unit.
