The rotation of high speed shaft should not be more than 1500 rpm; The circumferential velocity of gear tranmission should not be more than 20 m/sec; The temperature of work environment should be -40-45°C. If it below 0°C, before start, the lubricating oil should be pre-heated to above 0°C. This speed reducer can be run at clockwise and counterclockwise direction.

The machining cycle developed by ITALGEAR for cylindrical shaved gears allow compensating, through appropriate correction of each single machining steps, the unavoidable distortions introduced by the carburizing and hardening heat treatment and obtain finished gears of the highest quality. Cylindrical ground gears are cut by hobbing machines of the latest generation and finished by Reischauer and Gleason CNC grinding machines equipped with automatic loaders and special software that allow the correction of the twisting errors that may occur in helical gear and, with special ground cycles strategy minimizing noise of gears in operation. ITALGEAR can also make the finishing of the gears after carburizing heat treatment adopting the Skiving technology, which allows the precise finishing of gears through superfinishing of the teeth with a hard metal PVD coated hobs. The technology allows production of groundquality precise gears while reducing cutting time and costs effective at the same time. On request, ITALGEAR engineers can team up with the Customer R&D and suggest any appropriate measures to optimize the gear meshing in order to obtain low noise in operation.

Gears have to provide a smooth power transmission for machine components while in operation. Bevel, planetary, worm and cylindrical gears are often exposed to high demands and have to withstand water, cleaning agents and disinfectants as well as extreme thermal stress and highly corrosive environments. The gear hobbing machine, model DM 6.0, is a C.N.C machine designed for the hobbing of cylindrical, spur, helical gears, splined shafts, and milling of endless screws, on shafts with length up to 600 mm. The solid structure, matched with high quality materials, ensures a longer duration of cutting hob, permitting continuity of production and a significant productivity growth. The shift axis permits the use of different tools and the realization of multiple hobbing with a single set-up on the workpiece. The height of the table and large sliding doors are studied to consent an easy access at tooling operations or workpiece replacements. The software, realized by us, is simple, complete and intuitive and it can be customized on specific requests.
