Light, spherical, mineral and ferrite-free glass beads blasting abrasive WIWOX® GP. Ideal for bright, matt-gloss surfaces. The area of application ranges from the cleaning of delicate tools to the deburring of precision parts through to the finishing of precious and non-ferrous metals.

A client in automotive industry intends to improve the inline glue bead supervision performed when automatically applying glue beads inside body parts. The system to be purchased should be able to monitor position, height and width of the glue bead any time. Until now, the client makes use of a 3D laser system with very complex beam guidance, in order to compensate problems arising from narrow space available. This present configuration however involves difficulties in adjustment, often giving rise to trouble and interruptions. Therefore the client is looking for a safe and less complicate solution. The chellenge in glue bead supervision: While the glue bead is being applied, very complex geometrical patterns are followed; the nozzle for the glue meanwhile does not rotate. Therefore this nozzle must be supervised in the total angle of 360°. This glue bead supervision can only be met by a laser scanner featuring an extremely low form factor.

The round tubes are manufactured from a coil that is bent and electric resistance welded (ERW). The forming process can be according to EN 10210, which foresees hot forming or cold forming followed by heat treatment, or according to EN 10219, which foresees cold forming without following heat treatments. The finished product is fully killed and welding seam bead is inside and outside trimmed. The NS30 hot melt hoses serve as a heated and flexible transport route for hot-melt adhesive, from a melter to a bead application head. The HB 5010 is a hot melt adhesive tank system with gear pump, especially for manual applications. Together with the hand gun HB 910, the tank system is ideally suited for all bead or spray bonding. The construction of the simple menu navigation of the control unit is so user-friendly that the intuitive operation of the device is possible even for untrained personnel. The extremely resilient plastic housing has a dirt-resistant paint finish. The modular structure of the system increases the ease of maintenance and ensures good accessibility of the parts when servicing. A filter change is possible without additional disassembly. A conveyor system with gear pump ensures a constant volume per unit of time. The simple design of the pump makes it robust and inexpensive. The construction of the pump also enables the processing of polyamides up to 210°C. Up to 2 heatable hoses can be connected. In combination with application heads, automation of simple tasks is possible.

This type enables reactive hot-melt adhesives, such as Polyurethane (PUR) or Polyolefine (POR) from aluminium cartridges to be processed. It is also possible to work horizontally or overhead. The devices are equipped with an innovative level control to provide information on the fill level in the cartridge.

We supply coloured glass beads in many different sizes. Because of the intended applications, the sphere diameters usually have a wide range of tolerances. Numerous colours are available, with matt or polished surfaces.

In addition to our micro quartz glass beads, we also supply simple quartz glass beads with diameters from 2 to 30 mm. These versions are manufactured in a less complex procedure, and also have a plain surface. Glass beads made of quartz glass (1kg)

Our high-precision glass beads are usually made of soda glass or borosilicate glass, but on request we can also supply quartz glass, sapphire glass or optical glasses. The standard tolerance is ± 0,02 mm. Without surcharge, the surfaces can be supplied matt or polished. You need even higher precision? No problem: We can also supply customized glass beads with tolerances of ± 0,01 and ± 0,005 mm. Precision glass beads

Our standard glass beads are simple products in sizes from 1 mm upwards, and with a relatively wide range of tolerances. They are usually made of soda glass, borosilicate glass or lead glass, whereby the surfaces can be matt or polished. Glass beads are a low-cost alternative for Raschig rings. They have less surface area than the rings, and therefore a reduced separation capacity, but they are perfectly adequate for many applications. The pipe or tube of the 2T pipe connector is inserted through the connector as required for bead tubes, immersion tubes, thermometers or sensors, etc. It consists of a sealing cone which is pushed into the matching inner cone of the connector and acts as a bushing for the pipe while performing a sealing function. An additional O-ring, which is protected from damage by a pressure disc, holds the pipe in place and prevents it from being pulled out accidentally.
