These special hollow glass beads are made of a borosilicate glass. Their dimensions are very small and move in the lower millimeter range. The ends can be done open as well as closed.

In addition to our micro quartz glass beads, we also supply simple quartz glass beads with diameters from 2 to 30 mm. These versions are manufactured in a less complex procedure, and also have a plain surface. Glass beads made of quartz glass (1kg)

We supply coloured glass beads in many different sizes. Because of the intended applications, the sphere diameters usually have a wide range of tolerances. Numerous colours are available, with matt or polished surfaces.

Our high-precision glass beads are usually made of soda glass or borosilicate glass, but on request we can also supply quartz glass, sapphire glass or optical glasses. The standard tolerance is ± 0,02 mm. Without surcharge, the surfaces can be supplied matt or polished. You need even higher precision? No problem: We can also supply customized glass beads with tolerances of ± 0,01 and ± 0,005 mm. Precision glass beads

Our standard glass beads are simple products in sizes from 1 mm upwards, and with a relatively wide range of tolerances. They are usually made of soda glass, borosilicate glass or lead glass, whereby the surfaces can be matt or polished. Light, spherical, mineral and ferrite-free glass beads blasting abrasive WIWOX® GP. Ideal for bright, matt-gloss surfaces. The area of application ranges from the cleaning of delicate tools to the deburring of precision parts through to the finishing of precious and non-ferrous metals.

With vibration sorting, small batches / quantities can be processed individually up to 200 pieces per minute. Depending on the type of object, we recommend different designs / types – conical, cylindrical or stepped. Surfaces are preferably glass bead blasted or metaline coated (both variants have FDA approval). Mounting types are medium voltage and external voltage.

Socket pillar ES301 for 2 units. Due to the IP 44 protection class, the power column is splash-proof. The case is made of solid stainless steel. The material is glass bead blasted. Power bollard ESP24 for outdoors, protection class: housing IP10, electr. Units IP44. The housing is made of 2 mm glass bead blasted stainless steel. The sockets are integrated in a plastic housing, protected with FI/LS and completely wired. The power bollard can be closed with a profile half cylinder. Thanks to the cable outlet, the door of the power bollard can also be locked when it is in use. Coatings in RAL colors are also possible on request! The equipment is variable.

WIWOX® MT micro blasters are used for precise blasting with blasting nozzles from 0.4 – 1.8 mm. Surfaces can be smoothed, matted, deburred or cleaned. All mineral media, e.g. glass beads, broken glass, corundum, silicon carbide in the grain size range from 0 to 300 mμ serve as blasting media. The abrasive is used only once. The blasted surface is reproducible. Only a compressed air connection is required to operate the equipment. Micro-Tip fine blast units are suitable as portable free blast units or in combination with a blast cabinet. Micro-Tip fine blasting technology is available as a pressure or injector process. All units are equipped with foot pedal, pressure regulator, manometer and carbide nozzles.

WIWOX PeenPearl® are the new mineral abrasives with the perfect spherical shape. It consists of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) in combination with a high content of titanium dioxide (TiO₂). Its texture is exceptionally dense and resistant to breakage. Other mineral blasting material, such as glass-beads are indirection lifetime exceeded many times over. WIWOX PeenPearl® produces extremely smooth, shiny surfaces, ideal for the visual appearance of high-quality components. Glass beads are a low-cost alternative for Raschig rings. They have less surface area than the rings, and therefore a reduced separation capacity, but they are perfectly adequate for many applications. This is the ideal piece of equipment for blasting small and even smaller surfaces of glass and metal for matting, fettling, cleaning, polishing and drilling. All mineral media such as corundum, glass beads, cullet, silicium, walnut and plastic granules in the grain size range of 0 - 300 μ can be used as blasting agents. There is a selection of hard metal nozzles with a diameter of 0.8 mm and 1.0 - 1.2 mm as well as 1.5 mm for various requirements.

The JUNIOR 40 is a very handy device for various applications. It works according to the suction system, in which the blasting agent is sucked in the nozzle head by the compressed air (injector effect). The blown abrasive is filled into the sand container for re-use via the built-in insert vibrating screen and fed to the blasting nozzle. Depending on the desired surface, all dry blasting agents can be used, such as slag abrasives, glass beads, corundum, silicon, glass grain, chilled sand, etc.
