The adiabatic cooler, sometimes called adiabatic dry cooler or dry cooler with adiabatic pre-coolers, is designed to work with both air and water, with particular attention to efficiency. The external air is used to cool the liquid during dry operation and it is pre-cooled only in hot periods with wetting cycles of about 15 seconds during adiabatic operation (“adiabatic pre-cooling”).

The angle between the coils, the diameter of the tubes, and the thickness and length of the fins, are sized to ensure the best heat exchange performance, for a given fluid and air flow pressure drops.

Portable evaporative air cooler to 6.000 m3/h for premises up to 80m2 The AXIAL COOLER 8000 portable evaporative coolers are ideal equipment for air conditioning in a totally natural way and with the minimum local electricity consumption of topo type with an area of up to 80m2. Its basic principle of operation is to suck the air from the premises with open doors or windows and pass it through some cooling panels moistened with water, once the air passes through this panel it cools and increases its humidity. AXIAL COOLER evaporative air conditioners, have up to 3 fan operating speeds and develop an air flow of 4,000 to 6,000 m3/h, their cooling capacity is suitable for premises of up to 80m2. Its basic operating principle is to suck in the outside air and pass it through some cooling panels moistened with water. Once the air passes through this panel, it cools and increases its humidity. Once this process has been carried out, the air is propelled inside the premises to be air-conditioned and, based on the appropriate renovations and extraction of air, a comfortable comfort temperature and adequate indoor air quality are achieved for people. The AD BIGGER PREMIUM evaporative air conditioners, develop an air flow from 46,922 m3/h to 60,644 m3/h with an available pressure at a maximum flow of 100 Pa, its cooling capacity is suitable for premises from 750m2 to 1,100m2. miko is one of the smallest compressor cooling systems currently available on the market. Although it has compact dimensions, the miko offers an extremely high power density and temperature stability of +/- 0.1 K. The mini-tower version measures just 350 x 200 x 330 mm and delivers a refrigeration capacity of up to 400 W, depending on ambient conditions, and the plug-in version delivers between 400 and 800 W with a height of just 3 or 4 RU (rack units). It features 24 V miniature compressors which are on a par with the large versions on a 230 V basis and also include a speed control unit. This power density means that miko offers an attractive and efficient alternative to Peltier coolers, including for high ambient temperatures. Both the plug-in and stand-alone units in the miko series are noise- and vibration-reduced.

The piko series from termotek is a further development of the successful P300 series. Also an active cooling system, piko is therefore also suitable for applications which require a particularly high degree of temperature stability of +/-0.1 K. Being a plug-in cooler, piko is suitable for integration in a wide variety of systems. The height varies according to the power: sizes ranging from 3 to 12 RU (rack units) with a refrigeration capacity of 250 W to 3.5 kW are available as standard. The service-proven cooling concept of the P300 series is continued in the piko, which also uses deionised water for the cooling medium as well.

The mako series is a new, particularly robust version of the add-on cooler which has now been added to the termotek portfolio. mako is an enhanced version of the proven P800: a versatile, active stand-alone cooling unit with compact dimensions, strong performance and temperature stability of +/- 0.1 K. The robust mako has been designed specifically with tough industrial ambient conditions in mind. The power range of 1.8 to 7 kW is slightly more focused than for the P800, but on the other hand the mako offers greater flexibility in terms of the cooling medium. A wide range of liquids can be used, including water-glycol mixture or deionised water, for example. The orbitally formed plastic tank is particularly easy to fill and empty.
