IKO PILLOBALLs are compact selfaligning spherical bushings which can support a large radial load and a bidirectional axial load at the same time. These bearings are available in insert type, diecast type and lubricationfree type depending on the type of sliding surface. In the insert type, a spherical inner ring makes contact with a special copper alloy bushing with superior runin properties. In the diecast type, a spherical inner ring makes direct contact with the bore surface of the body of special zinc diecast alloy. In the maintenancefree type, a spherical inner ring makes contact with a special selflubricating PTFE liner. Thus, a smooth rotational and oscillatory motion can be achieved with superior antiwear and load properties in each type.
