The sensor impresses by its high ruggedness against impact, dust as well as moisture and guarantees high reliability. The device detects accelerations in a measuring range of ± 4g and operates with 110 Volt supply voltage.

Interior deck system for the Desiro ML Following the development of the interior deck system for the Desiro ML Mittelrheinbahn and the Desiro ML Brüssel at TC and its subsequent delivery, the interior deck system for the Desiro ÖBB is now being manufactured at TC. The various systems are based on pultruded profiles made of glass fibrereinforced plastic produced by Exel Composites in Belgium.

Airflow system for the Desiro ML/ÖBB, Austria Having developed and manufactured the airflow system for the Desiro ML Mittelrheinbahn and the Desiro ML Brussels, TC is now also producing the airflow system for the Desiro ÖBB. The respective systems are based on pultruded profiles made of fibre glassreinforced plastic. For the air ducting system, the fire protection properties of the GRP profiles were set in such a way as to meet the requirements in accordance with EN 45545.

Interior deck system for the RheinRuhr Express (RRX) The highcapacity, doubledecker local trains developed by Siemens are fitted with an interior deck system from TC. All of the components – middle deck, lowfloor and highfloor haunches, inner side deck and cold air duct – are based on GRP pultruded profiles.

BEDIA level monitoring sensors are used to monitor the filling levels of liquids. The sensors detect when a filling level is exceeded or falls below a limit. Water-based liquids like coolants, AdBlue®, fresh water, waste water and oil-based liquids like motor oils, hydraulic oils, fuels and brake fluids can be monitored. Operating Principle The function of the sensor is based on the capacitive principle. It detects the change in capacitance that occurs when an electrode surrounded by air is immersed into a liquid medium. This change in capacitance at the electrode of the sensor excites an oscillator. This signal is processed by a microcontroller-based evaluation circuit which activates or deactivates an output stage. Types of Media The level monitoring sensors are designed for two different media types: For electrically conductive liquid media with relative permittivity within a range of εr 35 … 85 (water, coolant, water/glycol mixture) For electrically non-conductive liquid media

If bulk goods are transported over long distances (in trucks, railway goods wagons), separation may occur. Taking the sample just from the surface therefore leads to the wrong result. The outdoor cabinet is meant to being used in railway industry and is designed to withstand different environmental conditions, the micro climate inside the cabinet being achieved in accordance with the operational environmental temperature and humidity (specified by the customer).
