Medical device testing is tightly regulated due to the potential severity of an EMC or Safety failure. As Great Britain has now left the EU, we are no longer a Notified Body for EMC and are now a UK Approved Body (No.2583). Our calibration laboratory is set-up to perform measurements of impedance and insertion loss over the frequency range 20Hz to 500MHz with automated systems to offer cost-effective results. Products manufactured by Cranage EMC Technology Limited are also backed up by extensive calibration facilities for the measurement of inductance, capacitance, and resistance. Many of our products have been independently calibrated with UKAS traceability and this has served to verify our measurement results. LISN's, PLIP's and CDN's are initially supplied calibrated with results documented according to our calibration procedures. Annual re-calibration is also provided on a standard traceability basis. You would receive a bound calibration record for each product submitted with measurement results and details of procedures used. The basic version of the ZwickRoell Mflow extrusion plastometers can be used to establish the melt mass flow rate (MFR). The plastometer’s modular design is expandable using the piston transducer to permit determination of the melt volume flow rate (MVR) as well as for automatic adaptive parameter configuration. Common uses occur in goods inwards checks and quality assurance. Mflow extrusion plastometer includes the Zwick's automatic adaptive parameter configuration, which sets test parameters based on the material being tested to automatically minimize measuring errors. The basic version of the Mflow extrusion plastometer is designed to perform MFR tests in accordance with Method A and can be expanded for MVR tests as per Method B. Tests to the following standards are possible: Methods A and B as per ISO 1133, ASTM D1238, ASTM D3364, JIS K 7210.

Due to their design, Vibrophores have been used in the past solely as dynamic materials testing machines to determine durability with regard to fatigue life and fatigue limit, for example for fatigue testing to DIN 50100 (S-N curve) under tensile, compression, pulsating and alternating loads. Declaration of conformity is a document that certifies conformity of the products being released (released) to the requirements of statutory documents including the technical regulations of the Customs Union. Depending on the scheme applied the products conformity assessment in the form of declaring of conformity is to be performed on the basis of applicant’s own evidence and (or) evidence obtained involving the accredited test laboratory and (or) certification authority. Declaration of conformity has equal legal force with the certificate. At the applicant’s will, if provided for by the technical regulations, declaring can be substituted with certification. declaration of conformity shall be executed on a mandatory basis, the forms of voluntary products conformity declaring do not exist

For measuring mechanical properties of metallic materials

In our own laboratory equipped with Instron tensile machine, all products are regularly tested during production process. We use ASTM (American Standard for Testing Materials) test methods, which includes breaking strength test, elongation test and joint breaking strength test (in combination with a buckle). Besides testing of finished products, all raw material is tested. We are also proud to announce that since 2016 two most common WOVEN strapping – 32mm with BS 2000kg and 2300kg are type approved by DNV (Det Norske Veritas). The EP endurance test benches are used to test various components over a defined cycle for durability, e.g. temperature and pressure cycle tests. A high series quality requires precision and reliability. Operational and endurance tests are necessary in order to be able to demonstrably guarantee high quality.
