The conventional PB series press brake are manufactured with a heavy duty welded steel frame with strong torsion bar and hydro mechanical balancing system ensuring a long working life. PB machines range from 35 tonnes through to 300 tonnes with a bending length of up to 4100mm. All PB machines accept euro style tooling and are supplied with digital readouts for stroke control and for the power back gauge position. Side and rear guards with electrical interlocks are fitted as standard for increased safety.

Alpha offer a range of folding solutions depending on the needs of our customers including manual, automated and robot folding machines. Our manual folding line consists of 6 manned Amada press brakes capable of folding mild steel, coated steels, stainless steel, aluminium and alloys upto 4100mm in length. Automated folding offers optimised machine cycle times through automated tool selection and simultaneous component load and unload. Parts are programmed offline allowing the machine to run components whilst the next is programmed ready for production. We currently operate an automated TBZ panel folding line as well as completely automated robot folder.

Ridat’s Roller Cutting Press (RCP) machines are designed to cut plastic thermoformed sheet, rubber, leather, board, foil and other gasket material, plastic foam, plastic coated or impregnated fabric. Production steps are as follows: Vacuum formed sheet is placed upside down on a cutting mould Board is placed on top and the sandwich is fed through the press A pair of pressure rollers causes the sandwich to press against the steel rule knife within the cutting mould thereby individualising the material.
