Besides the fish-farm, RIZ Krajina specializes on the whole pallet of fish-breeding. Farm and spawning stations were both established in 2000. In the beginning, only the Californian trout was bred, but over the years, we expanded our range to the more demanding brown trout and grayling. After an initial amount of 70 tons, we have now reached 550 tons with the number growing.With temperatures ranging from 7.5 to 10ºC, the water is suitable for brown trout (Salmo trutta morpha fario) and grayling (Thymallus Thymallus). This fact and the cleanliness of the spring water as well as an effective leadership in terms of development strategy guarantee a highly qualitative and healthy product that is recognized and sought out in Bosnia-Herzegovina and abroad. Moreover, we continue to steadily improve our products and services in order to stay the leading producer of fresh water fish.
