The DIGISTANT® model 4420 universal calibrator, built to use in the field, is ideal for checking and calibrating temperature measurement and control devices. The versatile functions of this portable unit allow to be used on-site or at a fixed location, on the test floor or in the laboratory. The unit allows the simulation and measurement of voltages, currents, temperatures and resistances.Simultaneous transmission and measurement allow, for example, controllers to be checked precisely. The automatic ramp function is used for controlling processes. The universal calibrator measures and simulates 14 models of thermocouples and Pt100. Wherever temperatures are measured, temperatures must also be simulated. The Pt100-simulator is suitable for a wide area of applications. It has a wide range of simulation, which is resolved in 0.1 °C steps and makes many assignments in chemistry-, measuring-, controlling-, medicine and household applications, food industry, vehicle construction, air- and space travel and power plants easy to solve. Often in the past several simulators had to be used alongside to achieve either resolution or the range of the relevant application. As an extra advantage to the user temperatures can be entered in degrees celsius. Additional extensive conversions and readings in tabulation sheets are no longer necessary. The force measuring chain is an universal reference measuring chain for the calibration of press-fit force measuring equipment. It finds applications in the quality assurance, commissioning and equipment monitoring fields. A DAkks calibration certificate is included so that the force measuring chain can be traced back. The calibration is traceable through accreditation at the German Accreditation Body. The calibration certificate records the displayed values for mounting positions at 0°, 120° and 240°. During calibration in field, the reference load cell is inserted in line with the flux of the press-fit measuring equipment. The force application is of central significance here for the quality of the measurement. Special force application parts are required, so that the line of action of the force agrees as exactly as possible with the geometrical axis of the load cell that is to be measured (central loading).
