Over the years, Gebuwin has developed many custom made winches. Some winches we developed on the basis of a one off project, others as a serial product. The serial project winches have actually become standard products. These winches are readily available and can be found at the bottom of the page. With regards the one off project winches, we offer an overview which gives an impression of all the possibilities. Consider the following: a longer and/or bigger cable drum, different gearing ratios (set of gears), self braking capacity of the worm gear system, different cable exit, specialized protection covers, torque limiter for the cable drum or the crank, various drive shaft speeds, different positioning of the drive shafts, use of other materials (e.g. stainless steel), improved surface coating in accordance with DIN 12944 up to classification C5. The majority of the parts are made of steel with an electrolytic applied zinc layer. The Gebuwin spur gear boxes are characterized by their solid construction.
