Our new iron and manganese removal installation - fermaliQ - can be found below. This installation is unique in that it combines numerous process phases into a single system. Odors like hydrogen sulphide or ammonium are no longer a problem thanks to the smart mix of oxidation and filtering, and aeration assures the ejection of carbon dioxide, which increases the pH. The iron and manganese are oxidized into solid form and filtered out along with other undesirable particles when the pH is just correct. The particles are flushed out of the filter by a fully automatic backwash, and the process can begin again. This guarantees that the water is free of iron, manganese, and other contaminants.

Ultrapure water has an extremely low conductivity since it has been totally desalinated. There are no ions (contamination) in ultrapure water because of the poor conductivity. Salts can be removed from water using a variety of methods. For this, Grünbeck uses our high-quality reverse osmosis installations, followed by a mixed-bed or electro-de-ionization process (EDI).

The RO installation, also known as "Reverse Osmosis" or "Reverse Osmosis," is a membrane filtering process that removes particles from water, such as germs and viruses, as well as salts (ions). The resulting water is referred to as demineralized or demineralized water. As a result, demiwater (desalinated water) ensures exceptional water purity for a wide range of applications. It's used to make boiler feed water, make-up water, cooling water, and/or process water, among other things.

To safeguard the residential water supply For the purpose of filtering drinking water. It can be used in both high-pressure and low-pressure situations. They are not appropriate for the separation of water-soluble compounds, oils, greases, solvents, soap, and other lubricating media. The fine dust filters Boxer KX are designed to meet the requirements of DIN EN 13443-1 and DIN 19628, as well as DIN EN 806-2 for installation in drinking water systems (installation directly after the water meter system). They protect water pipes and the components of the water-carrying system connected to them against malfunctions and corrosion caused by undissolved impurities (particles) such as rust particles, sand, and other contaminants.

The best solution for tertiary filtration: high solid removal yields, minimum water and energy consumption. In the PEC – PEC VM (VM = metal tank) series, cloth washing is done with pumps, each of which is served by two or more discs. The pumps are actuated in sequence in order not to disrupt the functionality of the system. The PEC – PEC MT solution is ideal for small-medium unattended systems with heavy and extremely variable loads. The largest model of this series can process a load equal to a community of approximately 20.000 PE. The various models can be installed in parallel to obtain various working capacities. - Gravity filtration with limited head loss. - Continuous filtration without standby units for the backwash phases. - Cloth filter in polstoff free fibre provided with high mechanical strength. - High filtration rate (concentrations of TSS < 5 mg/l at discharge).
