Politubes is specialized in the manufacturing of insulating tubes and end caps strictly customized for electromechanical and automotive world & performance release liners for tire producers. Our insulating tubes and caps are widely used in the manufacture of electric motors, cable harness, motor lead termination, compressors and transformers as well as in transistors, capacitors, heating element and batteries. They are also used to fix and protect permanent magnets for BLDC brushless motors. Our performance films with a high technological content guarantee particular mechanical resistance and release qualities and they are used as release liners for the tire production by the world leader producers. We holds main quality certifications as UL TEOU 2-8 nr E350605 and the most recent ISO 9001:2015 certifications. Politubes produces various types of insulating Mylar, Nomex, Kapton, 2LSO, DMD tubes & insulator caps designed according to the requirements of hermetic closure, positioning, size and protection from chemical agents as required by our customers. They can be supplied in perfectly round or oval form to facilitate insertion and to reduce the overall dimensions. Their dielectric strength can reach 303kV/mm with reference to the ASTM-D-149-91 test method and are used within a temperature range of -50°C/+300°C. Our adhesives, carefully selected during our forty years of experience, comply with all REACH and RoHS regulations and guarantee that the original properties of the films used are fully maintained. They are used for insulation and thermal management in stator slot E-Motors, thermal protectors insulation inside electric motors, motor lead termination, compressors, in order to avoid wires ends to damage the surrounding parts

Politubes offers a unique spiral wound continuous polyester heat shrink sleeve. This sleeve is supplied in rolls of several hundred meters. Its aim is: •Reduce noise by various decibel in universal motors •Protect rotor magnets against dust extending its life •Compact rotor surface where there are grooves fixing rotor balancing This hi-tech tube is produced with a spiral wound technology without any overlapping of layers; it offers: •a perfect roundness of the tubes that is the only way to guarantee the rotor balancing ; on the other hand overlaps of layers will cause the rotor unbalancing where is the overlap of layers that of course may cause many problems to the motors •to avoid breaks and ruptures in the overlapping areas after the heat shrink process It is supplied with very low thicknesses thickness ranging between 50 and 75 micron, wound on rolls of several hundred metres long to reduce transport costs.

Politubes release liners for rubber and elastomer blends are designed to be used in the processing of rubber compounds and to roll up and separate coils of rubber waiting to be vulcanized. This separation service liner is used by tire producers as inner liner, side wall and rubber compounds separator. Main advantages are: •Excellent release qualities of the tire rubber thanks to its special embossed surface, preventing deformations •Optimal preservation of shapes and surfaces, without creases or deformation of the rubber •Reduction in machine downtime costs and related waste; this translates into an increase in productivity and a reduction of hidden production costs •High mechanical strength and tear resistance. •Superior ability to preserve the fresh rubber sheet. •Reduction in costs compared to products used for the same purpose, as it can be re-used 30-35 times more than conventional products. •Absence of any polluting substances, fraying or bagging •Less costs of disposal

Nomex-Kapton -Nomex (NKN) tubes are stator slot liner insulators produced with a low thickness of only 0,16 mm without overlaps. This means an improved thermal management inside the stator slot, less overheating inside, higher torque and motor efficiency, more space for copper hairpins & I-Pins, improved dielectric strength. Reducing the thickness of slot insulator and improving dielectric & thermal insulation is a key stone to improve motor efficiency and performance in terms of: 1. Improving thermal conductivity and reducing thermal resistance 2. Reducing the temperature of the copper hairpin hotspot 3. By reducing the insulator volume because of a reduced thickness and lack of overlaps; this means that the amount of copper inside the slot can be increased, improving motor performance 4. Reducing phase resistance Nomex and Kapton are DuPont registered trademarks

Politubes, in conjunction with DuPont, has developed a special spiral-wound tube made of heat-shrinkable polyester (Mylar HS), which enables automated fixing of permanent magnets, thereby reducing the cost of assembling these motors.Important advantages are: 1.Unlike very expensive steel rings, the spiral-wound tube also wraps around and protects the ends of the magnets, which are also subject to corrosion. 2.The trimming that often has to be done during the assembly process when using rigid rings is avoided; the Politubes spiral-wound tube adheres perfectly to the magnets, taking their shape and protecting them from cracking and scratching; this also guarantees perfect balancing of the rotor. 3.Part of the assembly process is removed, since potentially costly and often manual bandage with tape impregnated with epoxy resins can be eliminated; this avoids as well lenghty resin activation time in oven; productivity is thereby increased and hidden production costs reduced.
