Spark erosion involves removing material from a conducting part and eroding it to give it the desired shapes and dimensions by means of electrical discharges. In the wire sparks erosion process an unwinding metal wire, under tension, is immersed in water or in another insulating liquid (dielectric) with the part to be worked. The current transmitted forms an electric arc which gives rise to precise, programmed degradation of a section of the part. The residues created by wearing of the part are removed by the water or dielectric liquid. Manual steel strapping tool, lightweight and sturdy, with sealless joint. Suitable for medium/heavy duty packages with flat surface for supporting the tool. It can be also used on packages with irregular shape, however a flat surface with a minimum length 150 mm is needed. Works with glossy or blue strap mm. 13-16-19 with thickness max. 0.6 mm. The holding capacity of strap dipends on material type to strap and on strap choice

The operator wrap the product with the strap, put the two ends through the buckle and places into the strapping tool. The first end is locked with the brake while the second is placed under the cutter and inside the tension roller. Increasing the tension of the strap, the buckle keeps the tension. After reaching the desired tension the strap is cut automatically by the tensioning device.

New strapping tool with battery GT ONE with adjustable operating modes according to the application: automatic, semi-automatic, manual and "soft" for delicate products. The insertion of the strap is quick and easy and, in automatic mode, the operator simply have to press a button to get the tension and vibration welding (heating by friction). Perfectly balanced, it can be used for vertical and horizontal strapping. It is equipped with brushless motor powered by lithium-ion battery of latest-generation and digital display with parameters always visible (tensioning, welding time, battery level).
