Working with building owners and building managers, Rotrex OnSite ensures that building maintenance units (BMU's) remains in top condition, ready and safe to use. BMU's can be manual, semi-powered or fully powered and are generally installed onto a tracked runway system, that is in turn fixed back to the roof structure. Depending on the design of the BMU either a dedicated cradle or a separate cradle set can be suspended from the jib. Other types of BMU include trackless, pedestal mounted and freely laid track.

Permanent rail systems offer an excellent alternative to the traditional BMU's in certain scenarios. Permanent rail systems are generally supported via cantilever brackets or permanently installed jibs fixed back to the building structure. Permanent rails can be installed where there is limited roof space due to plant or where the access from a roof-mounted BMU is not practical. Permanent rail systems are also widely installed internally for accessing atria.

Hopper silos are designed to store grains, seeds, legumes, pellets and other products that require special storage conditions. The stored product stays off the ground to prevent moisture and lower the possibility of breakage. This type of silo not only brings economic savings, as no sweeping machine is necessary, but also simplifies the foundation work which considerably reduces the building costs and streamlines assembly work.
