Wielandts UPMT provides ultra-precision diamond turning services for single parts and series production of space mirrors, infrared lenses, prototype imaging or illumination lenses, lens arrays and lens array masters, optical benches, … Thanks to its highly skilled and experienced personnel, Wielandts UPMT has developed a unique patented technology called DPI® (Dynamic Part Indexing) that is a real breakthrough solution for the machining of lens arrays and monolithic multi-cavity molds. Using this technology, Wielandts UPMT manufactures lens array masters to customer specifications for diverse applications: MLA masters for automotive lighting, fully populated masters for optical structure replication processes, IR lens batch machining and optics at wafer level. Based on its DPI® tools, the company also provides replication services of full thermoplastic lenses and MLAs from prototyping to volume production with a technology called HiFi Optics®.
