BLUE Activated carbon Filters are used in Air Handling Units, Ventilating Systems, Chemical processes as deodorisation and purification of the air. Manufactured and supplied with 8 or 16 groups. Depending on customer request, all combinations ara available. Cartridge diameter is 140 and 160 mm. Cartridge length can be 250, 400, 500, 600 mm on request. Cartridge can be delivered as filled or empty. Material : Black powder painted as standard Galvanized or Stainless Steel as option Activated Carbon Features: Total surface area>900 m2/g, Bulk density:500 Kg/m3. Widely used and favoured for drinking water treatment and beverage production where chloramines are not present; the SCB is formulated from low ash content, microporous coconut carbon that targets VOCs and THMs. Acid wash during the production process and low fine content give excellent rinse-up times as well as regulating pH and taste. The CleanPore Carbon also gives improved flowrate and lower pressure drop than the PCB, reducing the size of the housing required, making it a firm favourite for drinking water, pre-RO and applications where end product consumption is a consideration. Air filters with activated carbon are classified under 3 topics according their filtration sensitivity. They are as follows; Active Carbon absorbed Foam Cassette Filters (pleated or without pleating), Cylindrical Activated Carbon Filters and Activated Carbon Kompakt Filters. Active Carbon absorbed Foam Cassette Filters are used without pleating, but in places where more filtration surface is required pleated version is preferred and used in Standard and special sizes upon request. According system necessity cylindrical filters with activated carbon are produced and used in different places. Compact Filter with activated carbon achieve a high surface area in little space and therefore a long lifetime under economical operating conditions. .
