A chemical dosing system comprises a comprehensive array of equipment designed for dosing, mixing, liquid transport, and automated control. It may also be referred to as a chemical feed system or dosing apparatus. This system finds application in various sectors such as power plant raw water treatment, boiler feed water management, oil field ground gathering and dehydration transportation systems, petrochemical dosing operations, and wastewater treatment processes.

Enduramaxx’s Chemical Dosing Tanks available from 50 litres to 1500 litres storage capacity. Anyone who works with chemicals needs to store them safely and these moulded PE or PP tanks are specifically designed for use within the water treatment, purification, chemical dosing and storage applications. These bund tanks are designed specifically for use in the water treatment, effluent treatment and process control sectors, these are UV stabilised and available in black for use with chemicals such as Sodium Hypochlorite and suitable for Hydrogen Peroxide. These cylindrical chemical storage tanks include a flat raised section shelf section to mount equipment on top of the tank. This is ideal for mounting items such as chemical dosing pumps, industrial mixers, and instrumentation. Suitable for liquids up to 1.5 specific gravity.

Dosing pots are required in order to feed liquid chemicals such as corrosion inhibitors into closed systems. The dosing pots consist of a mild steel vessel with an inlet (return) and outlet (flow) valves, a drain valve, and a filling valve. A steel tundish, air release valve, wall mounting brackets, and a non-return valve. Dosing pots can also be supplied without the valves, and air release valve if requested.

Volumetric cup fillers enable the volumetric dosing of granular products. They can be fitted to all models of vertical form fill and seal machines and are offered in two series: 6 cups or 12 cups. Both models are equipped with a feed hopper with controlled outlet, a product level sensor, a series of cups made of food-grade material, a fixed lower cup carrier and, in automatic mode, a height-adjustable upper cup carrier with cup level sensor. The product is unloaded by gravity at the inlet of the packaging machine and, for fine products, the unloading system is equipped with a flap that prevents the product from spilling.

This range of linear checkweighers is designed to fit all types of packaging machines, tray conveyors or simply for manual bag filling. CJS 25 HI is an electronic dosing device with load cells for semi-automatic filling of bags with max weight 25 kg. Hopper capacity 300 l, bags weight 2-25 kg. The machine is suitable for the automatic dosage of granular products with a good flowability. The dispenser is mainly formed by a welded and painted tubular steel, stainless steel, loading hopper with pneumatic closing, fast discharge channel, slow discharge channel with vibrator to achieve the exact weight, weighing hopper installed on load cells, pneumatic device for locking the empty bag, PLC operator interface and user-friendly keyboard. The dispenser can be combined with a motorized conveyor for automatic loading of the product and to a free or motorized conveyor for unloading the full bag, it can also be combinated with an automatic packaging machine. All parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel. Ideal for packaging of pellets, granulated foods, dried pasta (short), cereals, coffee, nuts, sugar, etc.

SERIES ELECTRONIC DOSERS EWM entirely made of stainless steel AISI 304, suitable for packing granular products in preformed bags. The standard weighing range varies from 10 to 3000 grams and from 200 to 5000 grams. It is also possible to reduce the minimum weight by decreasing the weighing speed but the doser could lose precision. Before making the purchase, we invite customers to check that the AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for contact with their specific product. For corrosive products (for example SEA SALT) a special protection is available which is achieved by means of specific food-grade paint. This treatment must be requested before purchase and takes at least 10 days to make. The treatment (optional) is subject to wear and if it is damaged (for example the treatment takes a hit or is scratched off) it must be repeated. With salt, if no treatment is required, the steel could oxidize even if it is INOX.

The auger feeder series enables the volumetric dosing of powdery products with fine granulation, which can sometimes present problems of compactness, dust content and variable density, such as cocoa, curry and other "powdery" products. The various problems associated with processing the products are solved, starting with feeding the product through a hermetically sealed hopper equipped with a level sensor and a motorised agitator. The screw, made from a single solid mass, has an electronically controlled speed by means of a servo motor, which allows the use of acceleration and deceleration ramps that ensure an immediate screw stop, thus guaranteeing optimum dosing accuracy.

The ViscoTec dosing and filling pump RD-Hygiene for food and cosmetics is a volumetric pump based on the continuous piston principle. Installed directly in the water supply line, Dosatron pumps operate without electricity, using water pressure as its sole power source. On its way through, the water activates the plunger, which takes up the required percentage of concentrate. Inside the pump, the concentrate is mixed with water. The water pressure forces the solution downstream. Once set, the pump requires no further attention. The dose of concentrate will always be strictly proportional to the volume of water entering the pump, whatever variations in flow or pressure may occur in the main line.

We offer various solutions for liquid dosing. Based on parameters such as flow rate, dosing accuracy, properties of the media process and regulatory requirements we select the appropriate method of dosing as well the most suitable dosing instruments. Dosing methods used, include gravimetric dosing with load cells, various types of dosing pumps and dosing with pumps using mass flow controller (MFC) and level sensors.

The Batchmix 50 to 3000 models cover gravimetric dosing applications with throughputs of 5 to 3,000 kg/h. Usable for pellets and regrinds. Solutions for special applications are available. Depending on size, the machines can handle between 4 and 12 different materials and option packages are available to extend their functionality. The unique mixing technology used maximizes the dosing accuracy and uniformity of the mixed product.

The SOMOS® Gramix ExactDos dosing system is specifically designed for ultra-small volumes from a minimum throughput of 200 g/h (approx. 3.3 g/min) and can be combined with any continuous dosing unit.

SAVEOMAT Satellite is the innovative vacuum conveying system in which the suction capacity can be split as required. The valve technology on the vacuum manifold allows the power to be split between different material separators. A control of the applied vacuum ensures a constant vacuum during material conveying and guarantees a delay-free material supply. Complete extrusion lines or entire production halls can thus be supplied via a single or several vacuum generators connected in parallel. The suction power is applied as needed for each individual component, ensuring careful feeding, even of critical materials. SAVEOMAT P is a funnel weigher specialized for the blockage-free feeding of powder with a maximum chalk content of up to 20%. Thanks to the optimal hopper geometry, an enlarged inlet, turbine vibrators at the hopper inlet and the storage hopper outlet, material deposits and bridging are avoided. This ensures a stable production flow and a constant material flow with a consistent minimum weight per meter. The flexibly combinable dosing station allows the exact blending of up to seven material components. Two configuration levels are available the DOS 2 (one main and one side component) and the DOS 7 (one main and up to six side components). Dosing is carried out according to customer-specific requirements. The processing of granules and powder is also possible. The dosing station can be flexibly equipped with different funnel weighers and thus fulfills the most demanding processes of gravimetric weighing.
