Circular saws, or chop saws as they're sometimes known as, are a staple of many workshops. Offering quick and efficient cutting for small diameter tube, box and flats. We offer a range of different saws, from simple pull-down saws for cutting steel, or high rpm aluminium cutting saws, to semi-automatic models too.

The Sterling SAR range of circular saws are designed for working with aluminium sections and extrusions. All models feature high blade speeds and are pull down operated. These models are offered with either manual or pneumatic clamping. These machines use TCT toothed cutting blades which are available in a range of tooth pitches depending on the material section and required finish.

The robust construction and quality finish of the Sterling SR range of semi-automatic circular sawing machines is unrivalled. The SRC range has the ability to safely and quickly cut through a multitude of materials. The material slitting feature paired with the double clamping and self centring vices guarantees the material is always securely clamped in the optimum cutting position. Models with 275, 315 and 350mm diameter blades are offered as a fast cutting semi-automatic design, with pneumatic clamping for production cutting. The eccentric vice of the SRE allows for specific applications that would otherwise be impossible on the centred vice.

For real efficiency on your bandsaw or circular saw, roller track and measuring systems can really improve operator workflows. Roller track allows material to be set-up ready for cutting, lightening the load both figuratively and literally! Combined with a measuring system, and there's no more tape measures and markers, material can simply be placed, cut, moved and repeat!

Sterling offer a wide range of sawing solutions including circular saws, horizontal bandsaws, twin column bandsaws and the SVR range of vertical bandsaws. The SVR range consists of four models of varying throat capacities. They are all equipped with blade shear, blade welder and grinder as standard equipment. The blade can be set as narrow as 3mm, which is ideal for producing curved shapes and extends to 16mm. Together with the adjustable fence, this is perfect for straight cutting. With additional guards, the blades can extend up to a 27mm. Our range of vertical bandsaws are capable of cutting a variety of materials. These include: Iron, Steel, Plastic, Wood, Resin and paper. Constructed from fabricated steel, they are rigid, robust and made to last.

Our high-grade friction saw blades, MALTESERKREUZ BRAND, are used among other things for cutting profiles, thin-walled tubes, gratings etc.. It is characterised by its high abrasion resistance and a long life-time. Basic version in material 80 CrV 2 (material-no. 1.2235) chrom-vanadium-steel, plain hardened, hollow or surface ground, tensioned and straightened.
