Reinforced threaded inserts allow threaded holes which have been damaged, torn out or jammed to be used again or to be repaired. This makes it possible to recover scrap and rejects of expensive products. Reinforced threaded inserts are suitable for use in various materials, including light metals and casting. Inserts with internal threads larger than M6 are supplied with four locking pins instead of two. Permissible deviations: The medium tolerance class applies to the threads listed, i.e. 6H for nut threads and 6g for bolt threads. Other dimensions ±0.25 mm. With reinforced threaded inserts we also offer a version with a stronger cross-section for use in applications with greater stress. Self-tapping threaded inserts for making high-strength, wear-free, vibration resistant screw connections in materials with low shear strength such as aluminium and aluminium alloys, brass, bronze, cast iron, duro and thermoplastics. The threaded inserts are tapered at the bottom and have a cutting slot. By screwing in they cut their own threads inside a receiver hole. This guarantees a completely secure and firm anchoring in the host material. Internal thread D1 acc. to ISO 6H. The threaded inserts with cutting slot spring slightly inwards in the slot region in some materials. This results in a screw locking effect. If this is not desired, we recommend the threaded inserts with a cutting bore.

High-strength for design and repair Coil threaded inserts or “coils” are an outstanding solution for achieving highstrength joints in parts made from low-strength materials (e.g. aluminium lightweight constructions). At the same time, high wear resistance is guaranteed. Furthermore, the inserts are ideally suited for the repair of damaged threads. Very simple handling Coils consist of a specially formed and coiled wire with a driver pin that can be removed after installation and can be fitted quickly and easily in just a few steps. Material Ballbearing steel 100Cr6. Seal, rubber NBR. Version Sealed on both sides with a spherical outer ring. Can be relubricated. Note The internal construction of the insert bearings corresponds to that of standard Series 6200 and 6300 radial ball bearing. However, they have wider inner rings for easier fastening on shafts. The inner rings are manufactured with a plus tolerance. This results in transition or press fits when using shafts with htolerances. The shaft is secured by 2 grub screws positioned 120° apart on the inner ring. The insert bearings are ready to install and are permanently lubricated with a suitable ball bearing grease. In normal applications, relubrication is not necessary.

Grippers and inserts are ideal for use in clamping arms, gripping systems, clamping fixtures, clamping jaws and self-aligning pads. The use of grippers allows the transfer of very high torque values and above average grip, even with hard materials and surface irregularities. Form O: The abrasive diamond surface is bonded firmly to the base. It is ideally suited to supporting smooth or slippery applications with a minimum of clamping pressure. This allows the diamond particles to get a firm grip on a very small area with minimum damage to the surface. The diamond surface offers excellent wear resistance. Form P: The polyurethane surface is vulcanised firmly to the ball. It is abrasion-resistant and does not discolour. It offers optimum protection against damage to delicate surfaces. The pearl-like surface gives a firm grip and allows air to escape so as to prevent any suction effect between the contact surface and the self-aligning pads.

The required torque is set by a set screw and a graduated scale. The set value can be secured using the lateral clamping screw. When the set torque is reached the grip audibly and palpably releases. The loosening torque is higher than the tightening torque so that the torque handle can be released without any problems. The internal thread version has a hole in the set screw so that the torque handle can also be used on threaded rods. Set torque accuracy ± 5%. On request: Other thread lengths.

The HONSEL COIL "cone" can be installed in the same way as a coil with tab. No additional or special tools are required for process-reliable installation. When the HONSEL COIL "cone" is screwed onto the installation spindle, the conical portion of the wire thread insert creates a clamping effect between the installation tool and the coil. This ensures a stable installation process into the work piece. This press is intended for rubber overmolding of cables used for stone cutting. The cables must be positioned in the mould in the stretched position, and over moulding takes place successively in the jog mode. The dimensions of the parts to be injected explain the huge size of the press 660 mm in diameter, 2,600 mm long, moulded in one go.
