The OnRobot force-torque sensor provides accurate force and torque measurement along all 6 axes. This gives you precise control during difficult assembly, polishing, grinding or deburring. In addition, the HEX software offers path recording, force control and special functions for insertion. This reduces the integration time for your production line. Our sensors are suitable for most of the industrial robot arms currently in use. Common applications are polishing, grinding, deburring and assembly. They can also be used for teach-in applications and collision detection. The RoboTouch patented capacitive tactile sensing technology is the highest performance embedded tactile sensing technology for giving industrial and consumer robotic grippers or Humanoid robots the “sense of touch”. It is based on Digitacts sensor technology that features embedded digital output ideal for OEM integration into the gripper. The sensors comprise of multiple sensing pads, each typically with 12-24 sensing elements, which can be placed on any location of choosing in the gripper. Data from sensors are transferred to grippers via I²C or SPI digital interfaces, enabling you to easily integrate the sensors into your grippers.

A sensitive, waterproof capacitive tactile sensor array designed to capture instantaneous and actionable spray pattern and spray pressure data generated by sprayed fluids or gases. Capture spray distribution and impact pressure and accurately identify the location and pattern where sprayed fluid or gases land. Available in two application variants, Spray Pressure or Spray Pattern, and optimal for use in situations where spray pressures are infinitesimally small.

In order to measure torque and force, a large range of sensors is available. All these sensors are bidirectional, inductive or resistive type with a good linearity and negligible hysteresis. These sensors allow to measure torque less than 1 uNm and up to 1 Nm.

The CTA TactileHead is a width adjustable pressure measurement and mapping system for quantifying pressures exerted by headphones, earmuffs, headbands, and more on various head sizes. A high-resolution Conformable TactArray sensor is molded onto the curved area around the ear of the mannequin head, while another high-resolution TactArray sensor is mounted to a flat plate on the other side of the head to provide a controlled comparison. Chameleon, our real-time visualization and acquisition software, is then used to display pressures from both sensors simultaneously and to perform real-time analysis for evaluating comfort and fit.

The PPS TactileGloves are tactile pressure sensor gloves with embedded sensing elements throughout the palm and fingers, allowing for natural and accurate testing of pressures applied to and exerted by the hand. Nearly any hand operation can be measured accurately through the 65 individual highly sensitive sensing elements within each glove. The Stretchable TactArray is a flexible pressure sensor pad engineered from a soft and conductive silver-metalized Spandex. The Stretchable TactArray can stretch up to 10% and be folded in multiple directions while still maintaining high data quality. This sensor is approximately 3-7 mm thick and is best suited for dynamic curvature applications such as seats, horseback saddles and other applications where sensor thickness is not an issue. The Digimes Universel is a 5 KHz carrier current bridge for resistive, inductive or differential transformer transducers connected in full or half bridge. The sensitivity is adjustable by the user between 2 mV/V and 100 mV/V according to six measuring ranges. Gain and offset can be adjusted with potentiometers to allow calibration of the sensor. There is also the Digimes Compact, dedicated to one sensor.

The TactileMat is a rigid and robust pressure sensing pad that is of the largest, high-resolution pressure mapping sensors on the market. The use of a large area sensor like the TactileMat allows you to capture dynamic pressure over a larger area without the dead zones typically associated with trying to use multiple smaller sensors side-by-side. This is one of the largest pressure mats on the market. The CLA TSF-000 through TSF-5 are bidirectional, inductive type torque sensors. The measurement system is composed of an axis mounted on flexible pivots with cruciform springs allowing frictionless torque measurement. The axis rotation angle measurement, which is proportional to the measured torque, is performed via an inductive displacement sensor with carrier frequency. The small rotation angle, approximately 1° for all measurement range, allows very good linearity and negligible hysteresis.

The CLA LC-01 and LC-1 are bidirectional, inductive type force sensors. The measurement system is composed of a displacement transducer which mobile core is linked to two leaf copper beryllium springs. The spring flexion measurement, which is proportional to the force to be measured, is performed by inductive sensor with carrier frequency. The measurement shaft is interchangeable, allowing the use of special shaft.

The CLA SC-002 is bidirectional, resistive type force sensor. The measurement system is composed of a semiconductor strain gage. The measurement shaft is made of a 0.5mm diameter axis with a positioning notch for calibration and measurement. The design of that sensor is specially made for a high resonance frequency.

The Industrial TactArray is a flat sensor that can capture and map pressure distribution in even the most extreme conditions. Constructed from high-quality Kapton or Polyimide, the Industrial TactArray can pressure distribution of up to 700 psi and in temperatures between -40° C and 200° C. The Conformable TactArray is a ~1mm thick flexible sensor constructed from soft, conductive cloth and captures pressure distribution between two objects in direct physical contact. The Conformable TactArray can accommodate varying degrees of curvature and can output accurate, repeatable data even while wrapped around irregular shapes. The small dimensions of the hydraulic force transducers of the model series TesT 1001 / 1011 / 1021 as well as the flat building method permit versatile applications. The small transducers were conceived for occasional control measurements, e.g. for adjusting or service work. The indicating instruments of model versions 1001 and 1011 have a diameter of 63 mm. The indicating instrument of model version 1021 can have a diameter of 63 mm or 100 mm. All model versions possess a drag indicator to display peak values.

The force to be measured must be introduced axially and perpendicularly to the entire surface of the inner and outer bands of the sensor in the opposite direction. Conversion of the acting force into an electrical output signal is performed by strain gages connected together in a full bridge circuit. To achieve optimal accuracy, the base of the sensor should rest on a smooth level surface, hardened to at least ≥ 58 HRC with sufficient dimensions. The base cover welded to the surface has a stabilizing effect on the sensor element. Lateral forces must be avoided anyway as they distort the measured results. Tension and bending relief for the sensor cable is to be carried out on the machine side. The force measuring chain is an universal reference measuring chain for the calibration of press-fit force measuring equipment. It finds applications in the quality assurance, commissioning and equipment monitoring fields. A DAkks calibration certificate is included so that the force measuring chain can be traced back. The calibration is traceable through accreditation at the German Accreditation Body. The calibration certificate records the displayed values for mounting positions at 0°, 120° and 240°. During calibration in field, the reference load cell is inserted in line with the flux of the press-fit measuring equipment. The force application is of central significance here for the quality of the measurement. Special force application parts are required, so that the line of action of the force agrees as exactly as possible with the geometrical axis of the load cell that is to be measured (central loading).
