Productinformation The dragonfruit, also called pitaya or pitahaya, originated from the South American forest cactus (hy-locereus monacanthus). Pitayas can either be red or yellow. The red pitaya has white fruit pulp with many small black pits. After harvest, the pitayas are dried in slices. A total of 90 kilos of fresh fruit are required for the production of 1 kilo of dried dragonfruit slices. The taste is reminiscent of kiwis; it is sweet but complemented by a hint of dried figs. Origin Dragonfruit are pressure-sensitive and therefore easily damaged during transport. Thailand exports this fruit by air the entire year around. Nicaragua, China, Vietnam and Israel also grow dragonfruit.

The same fruit we use for our Fresh Dragon Fruit (Pitahaya) product is used and dried. This process allows Pitahaya to retain its flavor and internal color, but changes the texture and turns the once juicy fresh fruit into a crispy snack. Pitahayas are dried after being peeled and sliced. Then the packaged pitahayas are ready for sale. It can be used in sauces and desserts, or can be used on its own as a great snack.

Our Pomegranate Concentrate Clear is elaborated with pomegranates from a tree called Punica Granatum. The seeds are hard on the inside and the head is covered by a juicy, red, or pink, acid pulp. The Pomegranate Concentrate is ideal for the production of soft drinks and beverages and can be reconstituted by dilution with water to reach the Brix of the ready-to-drink product. Apart from drinks and beverages, our Pomegranate Concentrate Clear can be used in fruit industrial applications, bakery products, dairy products, ice creams, ready meals, jams, and syrups. Its color, taste, and flavor are typical of fresh pomegranates. Pomegranate Concentrate is normally packed in an aseptic bag, which is inserted in a metallic, cone-shaped drum, covered with a plastic lid. This product is recommended to be stored frozen at around -18 degrees Celsius for it to maintain its quality and properties. Drum 250 kg, Packaged 4 drums per pallet. Braeburn From scarlet red to dark red coloured, with veining on golden yellow background, , medium sized, smooth and glossy peel, elongated shape, white-creamy pulp. Pulp is very crunchy, firm and juicy, finely textured. Apple is juicy, crunchy with a firm fruit flesh, a pleasant balance of sweetness and acidity.

Apples Royal Gala Bright red colour rich in light red on a yellow based veining smooth and clean peel; truncated cone shape; small-medium sized; ideal as a snack; yellow-creamy pulp. The apple is crunchy and juicy with low acidity, sweet aroma. Crossed from the varieties Kidd’s Orange x Golden Delicious.
