Sensors can be adapted to suit customer-specific applications. Particularly for a large number of pieces, customized sensors can be produced efficiently, which results in considerable cost reductions. The compact PCB which contains the sensor element and the evaluation electronics is responsible for the signal preparation, signal evaluation and signal output. The type of measurement (distance or rotational speed measurement) and the required frequency response are adaptable. In addition, the interfaces offer numerous connectivity options. There are several outputs such as current, voltage, PWM and further digital outputs. The design of the housing, the material and the protection class can be adapted to the specific requirements. In cases where space is limited, the side shifted measurement offers a space-saving alternative. For harsh environments, the sensor is designed with a fully sealed stainless steel housing that withstands high pressure, dirt, aggressive chemicals (acids)

Application examples are often found where the standard versions of the sensors and the controller are performing at their limits. For these special tasks, the measurement systems can be modified according to the customer’s individual requirements. Changes requested include, for example, modified designs, target calibration, mounting options, individual cable lengths, modified measuring ranges or sensors with integrated controller.

The pressure transmitter DMP 321 is the consistent further development of our in many applications approved DMP 331. It shows an improved signal behavior and sets new standards in the industrial class. The electronic pressure switch DS 200 is the successful combination of — intelligent pressure switch — digital display and has been specially designed for applications in various industrial sectors. As standard the DS 200 offers a PNP contact and a rotatable display module with 4-digit LED display. The pressure transmitter DMP 331 can be used in all industrial areas when the medium is compatible with stainless steel 1.4404 (316 L) or 1.4435 (316 L). Additional are different elastomer seals as well as a helium tested welded version available. DCT 531 with RS485 interface uses the communication protocol Modbus RTU which has found the way in industrial communication as an open protocol. The Modbus protocol is based on a master Slave architecture with which up to 247 Slaves can be questioned by a master – the data will transfer in binary form. Speed sensors from Lenord+Bauer are particularly suited for continuous operation in durable capital goods thanks to the magnetic sensing principle. They detect rotational and linear motion. The sensors are protected against extreme weather conditions, humidity, shock, and vibration due to an encapsulation process and specially developed production methods. Thus they are in compliance with DIN EN 50155 and meet the requirements of protection class up to IP 68. Customised versions by adapting the housing, or different cable and plug fabrication, Lenord+Bauer can implement almost any installation position. Depending on requirement, the sensors generate single or multichannel squarewave signals alternatively as voltage or current signal ranging from 0 to 25 kHz. A standstill signal can also be implemented. On request ATEXprotected product variants, special output signals for functional testing, and sensors with integrated pulse division or pulse multiplication are available.
