A flow valve is a critical component in various systems where the regulation of fluid flow is necessary. It’s designed to control the rate at which fluid passes through a system, ensuring that the flow matches the requirements of the application.Flow control valves are essential in industrial usage, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. They play a crucial role in regulating the flow of fluids, ensuring optimal performance and efficient operation of machinery and equipment. Control valves can be actuated in various ways, including pneumatically, hydraulically, or with electric motors. Some valves, known as automatic control valves, do not require an external power source and operate solely on fluid pressure.When selecting a flow control valve, it’s important to consider factors such as flow rate and pressure requirements, material compatibility, and environmental conditions.

In particular applications, it can be necessary to hold high axial forces and torque at the same time. For pneumatic operation, our Locking Unit series KFPD meets this demand. Depending in the size, forces / torques of 12 kN / 120 Nm or 30 kN / 500 Nm can be held securely. The “normal” SITEMA Locking Units KFH are already able to hold smaller torque. Example: 280 Nm with, at the same time, an axial holding force of 100 kN on rod diameter 56. In case higher torque needs to be held, SITEMA’s special design series KFHD can help. With this design, it is possible to hold torque with a factor of 10 higher compared to the standard KFH unit. Example: 2800 Nm with, at the same time, an axial holding force of 100 kN on rod diameter 56. Whether the operation is pneumatic or hydraulic, the application is limited to static holding. The KFPD and KFHD can prevent a rotation from starting, but are not suitable to brake rotating masses.

It is used where hydraulic or pneumatic solutions are not possible. The holding force is created by the proven spring-operated clamping system as it is used in SITEMA’s hydraulically or pneumatically operated Locking Units. At a drop of the control voltage or in case of failure of the electric supply, the Locking Unit KFE clamps automatically. Therefore, it is also suitable for use in safety relevant applications. To operate the Locking Unit KFE, a supply voltage of 24 V and a control signal for the input command “clamp/release” are sufficient. Electric cylinders are self-locking. So they do not need energy when they stand still. This makes the electric cylinders to be an interesting alternative to pneumatic and hydraulic actuators. Powerful DC motors, signal lines, potentiometers and Hall-ICs for position indication, as well as integrated end switches uncomplicatedly serve for meeting the most frequent requirements.

The completely equipped electrical cylinder unit includes the motor transmission unit, along with the motor brake, two-channel Hall-IC sensor and two end-limit switches. All connection lines run directly out of the unit to make configuration and initial start-up easier, particularly for PLC operation. The fixation of the electric cylinder connections is compatible with commercial pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders.

GSW Shears find their place in CutToLength Lines or as Scrap Choppers. They are used to perform lasting and costefficient, no matter the roughness of the environment. Our pneumatic and hydraulic Shears are designed efficient in any way – and from 60 to 1500mm width The pneumatic machines run with up to 500 SPM while their heavy types are robust enough to lastingly process up to 3mm thick materials. If a combination of high SPM and thicker materials is necessary, our TSHL „light“ hydraulic Shears offer the solution. In the tried-and-tested, gasketed design, the EC-series offers many benefits to the user on top of its ease of operation. Due to the internal drainage, use in even the most hygienically clean areas is possible. The press lock is performed by an automatically self-regulating pneumatic/hydraulic closing system. The automatic closing pressure maintenance ensures that the plate pack always remains closed. An adjustable pressure switch with a potential-free contact is provided for integration into the customer's control system. This prevents the feeding pump from running uncontrollably. Also, as with all AQUACHEM filter presses, the discharge manifold can be generated here at the customer's request. Due to the gasketed design, the seamless backflushing of the filter media in the filter press is possible. The filter press frame is phosphated and powder-coated, offering a high level of protection against external influences.

Model number 8201 precision pressure sensors are robust, economical, and are available in standard measuring ranges. Their good technical specification and high reliability make them optimum for measuring pressure in all fields of machine construction, process technology, as well as in measurement and control technology. The pressure transducers are easy to handle and immune to shock loads and vibrations as they are designed without moving parts. All pressure transducers without an internal amplifier have a standardized output signal of 1.0 mV/V. This enables the user to change a transducer in a measuring chain as liked without following readjustment of the electronic. Customized designs are available on request. The TAURUS® 2/AS is a special version of theTAURUS® 2 with a VAS slide switch which does not engage when in its highest position, thus achieving that vacuum absorption is automatically deactivated once the tool is not in use. This way, unintentional activation of the vacuum absorption with unnecessary air consumption can be effectively avoided.
